Nominally mustard gas is SCH2CH2Cl whereas Chlorine is the element Cl2 The vinegar-chlorine reactions have no source of sulfur.

Many thanks for the info! Your mind is far better than mine on science- and chemistry-related stuff.
Come to think of it, I actually did the bleach-vinegar combo (completely by accident) some years back. Never again! Barely got a whiff, but my head hurt for the rest of the day.
