Gun scare at Sheppard Air Force Base

SNIPPET: “Officials at Sheppard Air Force Base say a man was arrested late Sunday night following reports of an armed man on base.

The public affairs office tells 7News officers located the man, who did have a gun, and took him into custody.”

SNIPPET: “LITCHFIELD PARK - Glendale Police are identifying the two teens who stormed Luke Air Force Base in a stolen car last week, resulting in one of their deaths.

Glendale Police Sgt. Karen Gerardo says 16-year-old Jared Leyva-Coconi from Phoenix was killed, and 19-year-old Gabriel Aguilera of Glendale remains hospitalized from injuries sustained in the crash.

Aguilera will be charged with vehicle theft, felony flight, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, and murder.”

The arrest of Gadahn is a major victory in the US-led battle against al Qaeda and will be taken as a sign that Pakistan is cooperating more fully with Washington. It follows the recent detentions of several Afghan Taliban commanders in Karachi.<<<

Hey Vel, just stopping by. Has anybody done a workup on the probability of attacks being carried out in response to the very recent call for soldiers of the ROP currently enlisted in the American military to take up arms and follow Hassan the assassin's moves at Fort Hood? I hate to say it but this is more likely than not in light of other attacks from the past before Hassan. Remember the frag attacks in Iraq right after the start of the 2003 invasion? Some muslim soldier rolled some 'nades into an officer's tent and killed a few folks? It's happened other times as well and I greatly fear that even loyal muslims in the military may know of impending action and fail to take corrective action out of a very reasonable fear of religious retaliation. If this has already been posted please link it to me? I don't have the time to peruse the entire thread here today. Gotta get home and take care of the wife. She is home today overcoming after effects of the chemo and she MADE me come to work.

Thank you sooooo much for your prayers! Velveeta started a thread which I recently updated. Things are still pretty rocky even right this moment. But it should start getting better with this upcoming weekend. She didn't go to work today and may not tomorrow. But she's making ME go to work both days! I call and check on her several times a day and a member of my family is standing by in case she needs to be transported to the ER for allergic reaction. That chance is lessening by the day, though (Thank GOD) and so now it's just getting her thru the nasty chemo after effects.

The use of our democratic system and the rule of law by those whose intent
is to destroy our civilization is a cynical tactic that Americans ought to
be smart enough to see straight through.

Islamic jihadis are manipulating Western-style legal systems everywhere to
their own benefit while we, the founders of those systems, are floundering
in a morass of moral relativism, multicultural meaninglessness, and a
deplorable amnesia about the genuine worth of our own heritage, traditions,
and values.

The current case in point involves the three Navy SEALs who, as members of
Seal Team 10, captured the Iraqi terrorist Ahmed Hashim Abed in September
2009. Abed is charged with directing the March 2004 ambush of four
Blackwater security guards in the town of Fallujah in which the four were
killed, and their bodies mutilated, burned, and hung from a bridge.
Unbelievably, the three heroic Navy SEALs are now being court-martialed
because Abed claims that at some point in the capture and interrogation
process, they treated him a bit roughly; the charges against the SEALs

false statements about that treatment.

Aside from obvious confusion about the appropriate application of the
Uniform Code of Military Justice on the part of Major General Charles T.
Cleveland (the commander who signed off on the charges), the utter absurdity
of the situation must have jihadis everywhere wondering gleefully just what
are the criteria Americans are using these days for promotion to general. To
be fair, it’s not just Maj. Gen. Cleveland — it’s the entire system of
which he is just one deplorable example.

We, the inheritors of the liberal democratic system that makes our Republic
a beacon of hope for the entire world, are allowing that system to be
assaulted, corrupted, and suborned to the shrewdly calculated agenda of an
international coalition of forces that do not believe in American
exceptionalism, or liberal, pluralist, democracy under rule of man-made law.

I can totally understand that. When I’m sick, I don’t want anyone hovering over me. On the other hand, when Mr. RR is sick, he wants every bit of attention I can give him. I guess it’s just a difference in personalities. I want my solitude in my misery.....he wants company in his.
