• Thailand: Democracy Removed by Military Coup

    Peace and Freedom ^ | September 27, 2006 | John E. Carey
On Tuesday, September 19, 2006, a military coup removed one of the world’s democratically elected governments from the map. While Thailand’s Prime Minister was in New York at the United Nations, his job was taken away. A Muslim general took over. What is really striking about this is that the United States and the United Kingdom, the two staunchest allies in the war against terror remained almost silent. Neither the President of the United States nor Tony Blair have said a word about the coup. Even though President Bush has said over and over that spreading democracy is part of...

The track George W. Bush has taken the Republican Party down is the exact opposite of the one I embraced when I became a Republican 15 years ago in high school. Just to say a bit about myself, I have worked for Republican legislators, worked on several Republican campaigns, attended the 1996 Republican National Convention in San Diego as part of the Young Voters Program. I have not voted for the president once, but twice. First of all, I became a Republican because I thought the party stood for fiscal responsibility and it opposed the concept of nation building. Yet,...
  • Limbaugh read a letter claiming that dead officer’s wife and children were raped and mutilated.

Heard on the Rush Limbaugh show
At the end of today's show Rush Limbaugh read an e-mail from a friend saying that a police officer had committed suicide after coming home and finding his wife and children raped and mutilated. This sounds like it is something out of a movie, I know. Either Rush or the media is wrong. So far, none of the stories have mentioned the rape and murder. According to this story: Standing on the stoop of an uncle's house in Baton Rouge, Thomas Accardo described a police-obsessed little brother while Paul's wife, Anne Accardo, stood by, covering her mouth with her hands...

Sounds like a good Idea… -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subject: good idea I hear we are going to hit close to $3.00 a gallon by the summer. Want gasoline prices to come down? We need to take some intelligent, united action. Phillip Hollsworth, offered this good idea: This makes MUCH MORE SENSE than the "don't buy gas on a certain day" campaign that was going around last April or May! The oil companies just laughed at that because they knew we wouldn't continue to "hurt" ourselves by refusing to buy gas. It was more of an inconvenience to us than it was a...
  • Are We Really at War with Idiot Trolls? Yes.

If we are at war like your socialist neocon idol suggests, then why is he going on vacation. Shouldn't he be manning the command post? AND closing down the borders. Geez, I bet enough illegals swam into Texas just this week to pick a year's supply of lettuce. Yeah, I know, go back to DU or whatever. I just figured that since this is BOT Central, I'd just like to see you Bots try and defend this. And those of you who are eligible for military service shouldn't be here anyway. You should be over in Iraq helping to fight...

  • The Mystery of Illegal Immigration: My Theory as to why both parties are shirking the duty.

Before I begin explaining my theory, can we all agree that illegal immigration is a problem that most Americans (even liberals are against it, most of the time) disagree with? I voted for G.W. Bush for his second term because I was most certain that such a "conservative" President would do us all a favor and stop the 15 million illegal immigrants in our country, sneaking into our country at the rate of 3 million per year. After all, if homeland security is so important during this unprecedented magnitude of war, surely securing the borders should be at the top...

First of all, I am not some internet idiot or troll. I am a licensed psychotherapist and family counselor with over 22 years experience. If you want me to fax credentials, contact me here: doctormichaelsmith@mymail.ph I come here because I am not sure where else to go. I honestly think President Bush is on the verge of a complete meltdown. He is displaying advanced stage dry drunk behavior, and needs to be placed in rehab immediately. He really would be better off if he was still drinking. Now, I know what you are thinking. But that's not the case. As...
  • Fun Government Game

Hey, this message is for any and all conservatives who enjoy politics and would be interested in participating in a game that simulates the United States Government. New players start off in the House of Representatives, and can work their way up into the Senate, Governors Mansions, and even the White House. If you are interested, go to the home page. Also, I would encourage any prospective players to contact me either through email (rpickett@purdue.edu) or AIM (nerdzy152) to discuss the creation of your character

WAYNESVILLE, N.C. - Calling it a "great misunderstanding," the pastor of a small church who led the charge to remove nine members for their political beliefs tried to welcome them back Sunday, but some insisted he must leave for the wounds to heal. ADVERTISEMENT The Rev. Chan Chandler didn't directly address the controversy during the service at East Waynesville Baptist Church, but issued a statement afterward through his attorney saying the church does not care about its members' political affiliations. "No one has ever been voted from the membership of this church due to an individual's support or lack of...

I do much more surfing that posting and notice an unhealthy obsession with "kitty cats" on the FreeRepublic, why is this. I admit the last pic I saw of the cat in the glass was aweful cute but what gives?

I hate George W. Bush. I'll say it again. I HATE GEORGE W. BUSH!! Yes, HATE. I think his policies rank him among the worst presidents in U.S. history. And, while I'm tempted to leave it at that, the truth is that I hate him for less substantive reasons, too. I hate the inequitable way he has come to his economic and political achievements and his utter lack of humility (disguised behind transparently false modesty) at having done so. His favorite answer to the question of nepotism--"I inherited half my father's friends and all his enemies"--conveys the laughable implication that...

Anyways, the US has a bad history with human rights and it treats Indians like crap in the US as second class citizens and everybody else. The Muslim nations are the only ones which do not fall for this racial superiority crap as they have ruled the Europeans for centuries and thought nothing of it. Even during colonial times, The Europeans had trouble with the Muslims more so than the Irish or anybody. These people are using the Hindus who are cowardly by nature to come to their side and in the end rule everybody. Dont listen to this propoganda...

Freerepublic.com has over the years filled a unique and valuable niche for conservatives. In the past, I was also a Freeper, but I ceased posting when Freerepublic.com founder Jim Robinson first began censoring and banning members for any criticism of George Bush. I knew then the handwriting was on the wall for Freerepublic.com; that the situation would only grow worse with time. . .

To Whom It May Concern.

Wow what an experience. I was employed at Gal Power Systems in Mississiauga to work on diesel generator systems. I was working on a pair of 16 v 92 Detroit diesel generator sets at 4160 volt at a facility called the South West Regional Center in Chatham Ontario. I was requested by the project manager Moe Gallick of the Ontario Realty Corporation to supply and install some fuel system components at an Ontario Provincial Police transmitter tower close by. When I went there to do the work I saw that this was an old abandoned site no longer in use. I was let into the building and began work. As I was working I noticed the building had a an unusual amount of rat poison or toxic chemicals distributed inside the building. No breathing equipment or protective clothing were supplied by either my employer Gal Power Systems , The Ontario Realty Corporation or the Ontario Provincial Police. Mr Gallick did not spend very much time in the building. I completed the work. Shortly after this I had to seek medical attention within the Ministry of Health and was off work for close to a year. This was a deliberate act. I almost died. This act of incompetence was the end of a series of poisonings that started a couple of years earlier when I was working at Harper Detroit Diesel on a project at Mississauga Hydro , probably continued when I was hired by Thomson Technology in British Columbia and almost ended in my death at Gal Power Systems. Talk about bad politics or a toxic work place. That's kind of the ultimate. Some people say there is no corruption here in Canada. The harrasment to date in my work place is unbelievable and intolerable with off colour and snide comments about my mental health. There is much more to the story.

I can't believe the president can cut veterans benefits but spends our tax dollars to rebuild another country. We should take care of our own before taking care of others. Wasn't it our veterans that took care of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia and big oil? Did they ever pay a nickel for what we did for them in the Gulf War?
