First of all, I am not some internet idiot or troll. I am a licensed psychotherapist and family counselor with over 22 years experience.

I come here because I am not sure where else to go. I honestly think President Bush is on the verge of a complete meltdown. He is displaying advanced stage dry drunk behavior, and needs to be placed in rehab immediately. He really would be better off if he was still drinking.
Now, I know what you are thinking. But that's not the case. As far as voting goes, I am independent, but vote Republican most of the time. I voted for Bush in 2000. I am genuinely concerned for the President and the country.
The arrgance of the dry drunk often is so extreme that it is characterized by nothing less than delusions of grandeur. This is what we are sadly seeing with President Bush. He feels only "he" can save social security, only "he" can save the world from terrorists, only "he" has the foresight to determine the best judges to appoint or who should lead the UN. The way he even bucks the wishes of his own party is a tell-tale sign.
I am sure his family has seen the symptoms for some time and are being crushed with the pressures of dealing with this. This is confirmed by their odd behaviors in their own right - Laura's bizarre jokes, the twins own substance abuse problems.
Please take me seriously. I think the best course of action would be to call our Republican congressmen and have them perform an intervention to get the President in rehab. Cheney could take over as President, and would be free to act sensibly when no longer having to be loyal to his current boss.
This is important.
I'm IN!!!
You are part of the problem.
In before the zot!
uh...HUH...
See ya.
I predict that the sun will not set on you as a member of FreeRepublic.
It's not ethical to diagnose a "patient" that you've never seen. Physician, heal thyself.
All the best professional psychotherapists can be found on the 'mymail.ph' domain.
As a physician I resent that. He is not a physician, rather a liscensed psychologist. Big difference.
A psychotherapist/family counselor is not an M.D., so he's no physician.
The "dry drunk" cr*p has been thrown at Bush for several years. It is not a medical diagnosis, but a label thrown about by folks who aren't psychiatrists - lib psychologists, social workers, addiction counselors.
Actually, based on the characteristics libs ascribe to the "dry drunk", Howard "Scream" Dean's behavior is a perfect match.
