Houssein Zorkot, a third-year medical student at Wayne State University in Michigan, was arrested on September 8 at Hemlock Park in Detroit. He was wearing camouflage makeup, black clothes, and carrying an AK-47 assault rifle; he reportedly had to be tasered by police when he was arrested. We wrote here about the arrest of Houssein Zorkot, a third-year medical student who was apprehended in Dearborn, Michigan, with a loaded AK-47 and his face covered with camouflage paint. Zorkot maintained an Islamist web site on which he proclaimed his admiration for Hezbollah. A 26-year-old man accused of carrying an assault rifle in a Michigan park remained in custody Friday on a $1 million cash bond. Houssein Zorkot, of Dearborn, Mich., was arrested on Sept. 8 after witnesses called police to complain about a man with an AK-47, dark clothes and blackened face walking around a park.
