Banks will not be bailed out. They will be bailed-in using your money. Banks are already starting to collapse around us. The fractional banking system is a complete joke. It is at zero right now and your money is not safe.

The USS Samuel B. Roberts was recently found by a team led by Victor Vescovo who also found the USS Johnston. Both Ships were lost in the Battle of Leyte Gulf. It lies at a depth of 6,895 meters (22,621 feet), in the Philippine Sea. By comparison, Mount Kilimanjaro's peak is 5,896 meters, while the highest permanent settlement in the world, La Rinconada in the Peruvian Andes, is 5,100 meters (16,700 feet). Previously, the deepest wreck ever identified and surveyed was the USS Johnston, found last year by Vescovo. That lies at 6,469 meters.

Excuse the Vanity Post, I think some may be interested in a personal friend of mine who passed away recently, whose funeral is tomorrow. My dear friend Hans Heine, was born in Danzig, Germany in 1928 and was drafted into the Wehrmacht in 1944 and immediately sent to the Eastern Front to fight against the Russians, he has obviously seen the worst of humanity. In 1958 Hans, his wife and children immigrated to the USA and became citizens, he had a very successful business career and was a true friend, one of his sons joined the USAF and had over...

On this the first day of 2022, if you have a couple of hours and you want to hear from a WW II Veteran who came ashore on the Easy Red Sector of Omaha Beach and fought all the way thru to the Battle of the Bulge, check out this podcast from Jocko Willink and hear from Jake Larson, who is 99 years old and still sharp as a tack describe all the events in his life that led to the title of his book, The Luckiest Man In The World. It's listening to living history, fascinating.

A Group financed by the late Paul Allen is searching for sunken WW II ships. If you remember they found the Aircraft Carrier Lexington which was sunk in the battle of the Coral Sea. Now the group is attempting to located ships that were lost during the Battle of Midway. They have found the Kaga and more recently the Akagi. New Video of the Kaga on the ocean floor has been released. The ship is around 15,000 ft or more below surface. I find this type of thing fascinating just thinking of how many people on both sides are still...

Oprah Winfrey was likely feeling a lot lighter Tuesday evening – in her investment portfolio. After the stock of WW (formerly Weight Watchers) nosedived in after-hours trading, the wellness company’s single biggest individual investor was down anywhere from $39 million to nearly $48 million, according to reports. The stock, which was priced around $103 per share last June, sank to about $22 per share late Tuesday, reports said. The drop followed WW Chief Executive Mindy Grossman’s disclosure to analysts that WW would have fewer members in 2019 than in 2018, the New York Post reported. Grossman blamed the company’s winter...

In a development that shocked veteran talk show host Tom Gresham of the nationally-syndicated Gun Talk Radio program, the Wounded Warrior Project “declined an interview request on Gun Talk Radio because it's a firearms-related show,” the program reported yesterday on its Facebook page. “I'm stunned at your email saying that the WWP doesn't participate in an interview or activity related to firearms,” Gresham emailed the charity’s public relations director, Leslie A. Coleman. “Inasmuch as there are 90 million gun owners and most of them support wounded veterans, I think they would be shocked to hear that they are, by way...

A female boa constrictor snake has given birth to two litters of extraordinary offspring. Evidence suggests the mother snake has had multiple virgin births, producing 22 baby snakes that have no father. More than that, the genetic make-up of the baby snakes is unlike any previously recorded among vertebrates, the group which includes almost all animals with a backbone. Details are published in the Royal Society journal Biology Letters. Virgin births do occur among animals. Many invertebrates, such as insects, can produce offspring asexually, without ever having mated. They usually do this by cloning themselves, producing genetically identical offspring. But...

I am going to start this post with a very humble apology to Captain B. I’ve emailed him this already, but I feel an even more public apology is in order. Sir, I am very sorry this troll is back at your house spewing lies and hate. Now, for those of you that aren’t following the action at One Marine’s View, the short story is this. WW (yes, the same one that trolled here for a few days) is back at OMV claiming that Captain B is really me. His usual political hate follows.

On the flight home this morning, I was unfortunate enough to have a bleeder sit next to me. By bleeder, I mean he was invading my space because he was large and his body was spilling over into my seat. I've seen worse cases than what I had today but let's hear your experiences.
