    After “retiring” from mornings at Clear Channel’s 710 WOR New York in December, John Gambling is joining Salem Conservative Talk “970 The Answer” WNYM. Gambling will be heard daily from 11am to 1pm with a show that will alternate from WNYM’s Broadway studios that used to house WOR or Gambling’s home in Florida. WNYM recently added comedian Joe Piscopo to its morning show from 6-9am after the departure of Curtis Sliwa to WABC.

    Curtis Sliwa, for 18 years one of the most recognizable and persistent voices on WABC (770 AM), is leaving the station. WABC Tuesday announced that as of Monday, John Batchelor will begin hosting the 9 p.m.-1 a.m. weeknight slot that Sliwa had been holding down.
