Gov. Ed Rendell believes Teva Pharmaceuticals would make the ideal tenant for his future Horsham Joint Interagency Installation. So much so, he would like the Navy to transfer 150 acres of land at the Willow Grove Naval Air Station immediately so he doesn't lose the giant generic drug manufacturer to another location. The Navy is scheduled to leave the base by September 2011 and the commonwealth is planning for the land to be turned into a mix of military and governmental agencies dedicated to national defense, homeland security and emergency preparedness.
