One upside to Watchmen flopping: Warner Bros. will likely be able to pay Fox a smaller portion of the film's revenues to resolve their rights dispute. Good news, Watchmen fans! The UK's Happy Harry Studios have announced the upcoming release of an animated Watchmen cartoon for Saturday morning kids' TV! Directed by Harry Partridge (Akira USA!), the new 'toon features Nite Owl, Dr. Manhattan, Silk Spectre, and that wacky Rorschach along with the rest of the gang as they fight for what's right in futuristic New York. An attorney for 20th Century Fox says the studio will continue to seek an order delaying the release of 'Watchmen.'
