Sources close to Pence and to the Trump campaign tell Washington Times’ reporter Ralph Hallow that Pence is the probable vice presidential (VP) pick. The Trump campaign announced Sunday it would hold a campaign rally near Indianapolis on Tuesday night, furthering the rumor that Pence will be announced as the VP choice.

Just weeks after former presidential candidate John Edwards admitted cheating on his wife, he's not shying away from public speaking engagements -- and his fee has gone up, his agent says. Edwards is due to speak at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign on Oct. 14. Presumptive Republican presidential nominee John McCain may announce his choice for a running mate earlier than expected, sources told FOX News on Monday. McCain had previously said he would announce his vice presidential pick on Friday and would appear with that individual at a rally in Dayton, Ohio, following the announcement.
