June 12, 2010 Two killed during police raid on ‘Russian Rambos’ hideout Tony Halpin, Moscow The hunt for a vigilante gang known as the Russian Rambos ended yesterday when two men died and two surrendered during a raid on their hideout. Police and gunmen exchanged fire during a five-hour siege of a house in the eastern city of Ussuriysk, before officers stormed in. Two suspects, aged 21 and 23, were killed, although investigators said it was unclear whether they had been shot by police or had taken their own lives.

Two men were arrested for assault Sunday in Issaquah for allegedly beating up a man they said raped a woman. According to the Issaquah police, officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Northeast Birch Street where a rape had been reported. Officers found a man unconscious, bleeding from the face and head. The injured man, 31, from Kirkland, was reported to be the suspect in the rape. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
