"Verrücktenfreude" There’s a word in German, “schadenfreude”, which refers to the malicious pleasure we sometimes take in the misfortunes of others. “Schade” is like “Too bad”, or “that’s a shame”, and “freude” means “joy”. I think we need a new word. “Verrückt” is German for “crazy”, “nutty”, or “psycho”.
