<p>October 31, 2003 -- WASHINGTON - Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld said yesterday that revolting new Iraq torture tapes "portray a regime that was about as vicious as any regime could conceivably be." Rumsfeld also said "there are a lot" more videotapes that show similar atrocities from the Saddam Hussein era.</p>

<p>Graphic videos of torture committed by Saddam Hussein's militiamen "portray a regime that was about as vicious as any regime could conceivably be," Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said yesterday.</p> <p>Saying he was unsure whether he had seen the torture videotape aired over the past two days by Fox News, Mr. Rumsfeld told reporters there are "a lot" of such tapes, although he did not know how or where they were made.</p>

They are about to show a video of Saddam Hussein's torture that I happened to see earlier this evening as I was walking past the TV. The TV was muted so I had no idea what I was watching but it is VERY disturbing.
