SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco attorney who sued the state on behalf of high school seniors who failed the exit exam that is required to earn a diploma filed an emergency request today for an expedited hearing with the California Court of Appeal. On Wednesday, the state's Superior Court voted to stay the order from a lower court that would allow all members of the Class of 2006 to graduate, regardless of whether they had passed the controversial exam.
