Anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy broke into double digits in the Republican primary race, the latest Echelon Insights survey found. Similar to other national surveys, the poll finds former President Donald Trump with a strong lead in the primary race at 49 percent support. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis falls 33 points behind with 16 percent support. Ramaswamy comes in a close third place at ten percent support, just six points behind DeSantis, making him the only other candidate to break into double-digit territory.

A gun store in Texas hosted a back-to-school firearms sale just weeks after a mass shooting at an El Paso Walmart killed 22 people. Boyert Shooting Center, in Katy, outside Houston, posted a sign on its marquee earlier this month that said: "Back to school sale August 13th-18th Up to 50% off firearms." The gun range also promoted the sale on Facebook, highlighting a $999.99 discount on a semi-automatic .50 caliber gun that the shop called a "beast of a rifle." Local resident Michelle Simons, who took a photo of the range's sign, told KTRK she thought the sign was...

Box fed 12-gauge shotgun is the rage right now on social media. But box fed shotguns at the world's largest maker of 1911's is a different thing. Youtuber Legally Armed America had a chance to be the first gun channels to receive one of the VR60's from Rock Island Amory and it looks like they had a blast! Rock Island Armory are famously known for their 1911. But in this case they came out with an AR-style, box fed 12-gauge shotgun. Rock Island didn’t just think of making one but listened to their customers. Most customers wanted this in a...

Melissa Perry-Harris: "The thing we have to remember, is we can't just judge Vester Flanagan. We can't. He's a black man who faced a lot of stereotyping, a lot of racism. He had a lot of justified anger. And, seriously, what is the death of two white people when we look at all the millions of black people killed every hour? We should pull together. We should honor Vester's struggles. We should scorn the culture of whiteness that has driven our proud young men to extremes." Al Sharpton: "This is true, Perry Melissa-Harris, we cannot blame the shooter. We...

Washington (AFP) - The White House said Tuesday it was too soon to tell if the Islamic State group was behind an attack in Texas targeting an exhibit of caricatures of the Prophet Mohammed, despite claims by the jihadists. The IS group earlier claimed responsibility for Sunday's attack, in which two gunmen shot a security guard in a Dallas suburb before being killed by a police officer outside an event showcasing the cartoons, which many Muslims find offensive. The case "is still under investigation by the FBI and other members of the intelligence community" to determine if the two assailants...
