People have written me for years about how NYC Muslim cabbies shut down these streets and police do nothing. Under both de Blasio and Bloomberg as well. But if you jaywalk, deBlasio sics the cops on you. I have been reporting on this repeatedly: NYC Traffic Snarled By Muslim Cabbies Stopping To Pray Finally. Equality for all before the law. But that’s not how Muslims see it — it is seen through their supremacist prism: “I can’t help but to think they are being prejudiced. They don’t understand. We have to be here.” Uh, no, you have to obey the...

TOLEDO, Ohio – Residents of Toledo, Ohio, are complaining that they received $25 tickets for parking their vehicles in their own driveways. Mayor Carty Finkbeiner (FINK'-by-ner) says he stands by the citations handed out last week by the Division of Streets, Bridges and Harbor. He says the tickets were issued under a city law against parking on unpaved surfaces, including gravel driveways.

Detective Nathan Root said the teen admitted drinking beer, but passed a field sobriety test.

DENVER – A good Samaritan who helped push three people out of the path of a pickup truck before being struck and injured has gotten a strange reward for his good deed: A jaywalking ticket. Family members said 58-year-old bus driver Jim Moffett and another man were helping two elderly women cross a busy Denver street in a snowstorm when he was hit Friday night. Moffett suffered bleeding in the brain, broken bones, a dislocated shoulder and a possible ruptured spleen. He was in serious but stable condition Wednesday. The Colorado State Patrol issued the citation. Trooper Ryan Sullivan said...

BOULDER, Colo. – Boulder police have ticketed about a dozen people running naked on the street while sporting freshly gutted pumpkins on their heads as part of an annual Halloween event. The event known in Boulder as the Naked Pumpkin Run has been held for 10 years. This year it drew a huge crowd, prompting concern from police.

HOUMA,Louisiana -- Shortly after 2 p.m. Monday, a Houma Police officer handed 32-year-old Clyde Scott a ticket. Scott was on Main Street, smack in the middle of downtown Houma, but he wasn’t in a speeding car, parked illegally or even jaywalking. Rather, Scott was inside his barbershop cutting hair, trimming up a few students readying for their Monday-night high-school graduation ceremony when officer Michael Toups walked in. "He said he’s giving me a citation for opening on a Monday," Scott said, who has owned Clippas barbershop for about two years. Little did Scott know, a decades-old city law forbids barbers...

HELENA, Mont. (AP) - A new policy requires state troopers to stop at least one vehicle an hour, but the driver need not be ticketed, and the chief said the rule steers clear of an anti-quota law. Col. Paul Grimstad said the rule, which took effect Monday, is intended to reduce traffic accidents and drunken driving. Montana had the highest number of alcohol-related deaths per miles traveled in a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report released in December 2003. Officers and sergeants now average 0.88 stops an hour while patrolling highways, Grimstad said. A state law passed this year bars...
