Until the government recognizes the unborn as a human being, there ain't gonna be no free ride in the carpool lane for the expecting ladies.

Maybe murder, too, should be pardoned for overstressed parents.

Oh wait - it is.

No. There was one PERSON, and one slab of tissue called a "fetus" which of course is disposable so it's not a child yet. It's only a "person" if you have common sense.

Would twins attached at the hip in the carpool lane get tickets? How about a funeral car with a body in the back? I thought these all qualified for the carpool lane. We need clarification.

Puh-leeze. I am pro-life 100%, but even I know the unborn child did not elect to ride with the mother to save gas, as opposed to taking it's own car.

For the same reason, I think picking up a child from school and driving it home does not qualify as carpooling, unless you take 1 or more of his or her classmates also.

Election to carpool or not to carpool is the "global test" if you will, on whether it is carpooling or simply hangers-on with no ... choice.

Yup. I said "global test" while making a point. :)

Don't drive in the carpool lane in CA on a holiday if it falls during the week. I know someone who got a ticket on Christmas. The cop says it says M-F, doesn't say except holidays.

Until the government recognizes the unborn as a human being, there ain't gonna be no free ride in the carpool lane for the expecting ladies.

But that is her point, the government HAS recognised unborns as human beings as in the double murder of Scott Peterson's wife and UNBORN SON, CONNOR, who was younger by a month than the baby she was carrying when ticketed.

It seems to me a reasonable argument that if you can be murdered, you count as a human being.

She was on FOX news this morning. She is acting as her own attorney and she came off as just another whiney brat that is just trying to excape a $400.00 ticket.

And as if that's not enough she is stupid too. If I were the judge I would triple the fine.

Scott Peterson was convicted on two counts of murder.

I recall the Peterson verdict. So, if the government truly believes that an unborn child is a human being, why are abortionists not thus charged, tried and convicted of murder?

Can't have it both ways. It is either one way or the other.

The simple fact is that does qualify. Now if we are talking about what should qualify, I say we shouldn't have carpool lane laws in the first place. They increase congestion, increase traffic fatalities, and increase pollution.

The abortionists seem to believe the fetus is another person when the mother approves of it being another person, like a possession.

So if a woman suddenly changed her mind in the middle of an abortion, maybe the abortion would become murder...but then if she changed it back, then it wouldn't be...

I meant to say "picking up your child SHOULD not qualify". Oh well.

Oh really? I didn't know that. Is it because carpooling is a monumental pain, and generally not worth it, so people don't do it, so it means one lane is always free and un-utiliZed, and every one else has less room?
