Former CNN producer John Griffin settled a lawsuit on Tuesday that had been filed on behalf of a girl who was sexually abused at his Vermont vacation home in 2020. The 45-year-old was recently sentenced to over nineteen years in prison after admitting to luring minors for sexual activity during a four-month period. Court records reveal the girl’s mother accepted a $3,500 offer from Griffin to bring her daughter to his home for lewd activity, including watching pornographic content and performing sexual acts. Images captured by a drone controlled by Griffin showed him in his underwear alongside the nude child.

If you think you’ve seen enough of Chris Cuomo after his much-publicized contraction of coronavirus and nightly TV reminders of “you know who my brother is,” think again. The CNN anchor was apparently caught in the nude in the garden of his Hamptons mansion during a social media yoga session filmed by his wife, Cristina Greeven Cuomo. The younger brother of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo is seemingly seen in a screengrab strutting his stuff in the buff outside his home in Southampton, where he had been broadcasting from his basement while under quarantine. The 49-year-old super-fit newsman was allegedly...

Democrats' already wide advantage over Republicans in a hypothetical Congressional matchup has grown, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS. At the same time, enthusiasm about voting next year has increased among Democrats nationwide following an unexpected win in Alabama's Senate special election and a strong showing in Virginia's state government elections last month. Among registered voters, 56% say they favor a Democrat in their congressional district, while 38% prefer a Republican. That 18-point edge is the widest Democrats have held in CNN polling on the 2018 contests, and the largest at this point in midterm election cycles...

A year after Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 vanished, aviation expert Jeff Wise spells out his theory of what happened. Is he crazy? You decideThe unsettling oddness was there from the first moment, on March 8 last year, when Malaysia Airlines announced that a plane from Kuala Lumpur bound for Beijing, Flight 370, had disappeared over the South China Sea in the middle of the night. There had been no bad weather, no distress call, no wreckage, no eyewitness accounts of a fireball in the sky - just a plane that said goodbye to one air traffic controller and, two minutes...

That the rest of the P5+1 group doesn’t want it put out there is the official story, but I doubt The Most Transparent Administration, Evah minds much — it can hardly hurt if the whole thing just happens to look a little more hardcore than it really is, eh? If Tehran is making out that the White House’s comments are meant for positive optics in the United States (read: This deal is super-duper tough, and there’s no need to push for any further economic sanctions), while the White House is making out that Tehran’s comments are meant for positive optics...

Did the shutdown do lasting damage to the Republican brand? A new poll from CNN shows some short-term damage, at least, in public perception of the party in reference to control of the House. For the first time since winning the majority in 2010, CNN’s polling shows a majority who disapprove of it, and more than 60% want John Boehner out as Speaker: Just more than half the public says that it’s bad for the country that the GOP controls the House of Representatives, according to a new national poll conducted after the end of the partial government shutdown. And the...

Dodge City, Iowa (CNN) – On Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty put a fresh twist on his recent tactic of calling out his GOP opponents — in this case lumping Mitt Romney and Michele Bachmann together in a single slam. [......] “We got one leading candidate in this race who’s running away from his record. We got another leading candidate in this race who has no record. I’m running on my record. That’s a big difference,” Pawlenty said. He continued: “Well I think when you want to think about making somebody president you want to know some things. You...

Remembering that CNN's President Jon Klein has touted its down-the-middle coverage and claims it is situated in the "center" of American politics, on a recent episode of Fareed Zakaria GPS, host Zakaria tried to claim that Lebanon's terror group Hezbollah was some sort of model for religious tolerance. Someone should inform CNN that claiming Hezbollah is "religiously tolerant" is hardly a centrist position. If we can discern "religious tolerance" in a group that says that the state of Israel should be wiped from the earth, then there is a new definition of "tolerance" that no one is aware of. But...

In 2002, it climbed 44% to an average of 667,000 total-day viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. In the same time period and category, second-place CNN slipped 7% to an average of 536,000...
