JACKSONVILLE, FL -- 34-year old Scott Thomas married Liza Thomas in 2001. They bought a home and had a baby boy. But one September day, paramedics found Scott on his kitchen floor with several hairline fractures down the left side of his head. Scott spent two months in a coma. Scott's mom, Pamela Patton, says Liza had plans to put Scott in Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, so she filed for temporary guardianship in November and won. The Associated Press Updated: 3:33 p.m. ET March 30, 2005ATLANTA - Just a few hours after allowing Terri Schiavo's parents to file a request for a new hearing, a federal appeals court on Wednesday declined to reopen the case. It had issued a written order late Tuesday allowing Bob and Mary Schindler to file the appeal, even though the court had set a March 26 deadline for doing so. The same court last week twice ruled against the Schindlers, who are trying to keep...

Morphine Posted 11:27 a.m., Wednesday, March 30, 2005 A 'Schiavo' thought that I haven't heard or seen mentioned on mainstream television: if Terri cannot feel anything (her husband's attorney says that she is 'comfortable') why all of the morphine? Mightly has gone back and forth with this case (against removing the tube, then for it), but on this point, one has to wonder. Sean Hannity has discussed Terri's need for morphine, but where the hell is everyone else? If she truly is brain-dead, one has to wonder.

Dear Friend, As of today -- Easter Sunday -- Terri Schiavo is STILL fighting for her life -- which itself is proof that it is NOT her wish to die, as her estranged "husband" keeps claiming. But time is definitely running out. Terri has been starving to death for nine days now. Except for one drop of communion wine that she was allowed on her thickened tongue today, she has had NO food or water for nine days. As you can imagine, as her brother Bobby described her today, she looks like someone in a Nazi concentration camp. She's suffering...
