The nonsense on college campuses that is grabbing headlines deserves to be called out. But so does the nonsense at off-campus institutions that claim to support the civil deliberation of ideas but mostly provide safe spaces for progressives who have no interest in engaging viewpoints that dissent from their own. Chris Anderson, the British entrepreneur behind the popular TED Talks—online lectures that often receive millions of views—has been embroiled in a public spat with Coleman Hughes, a podcaster and prolific essayist who writes about culture, politics and race. ....He has testified before Congress and participated in academic conferences in the...

“Common people” are right to be fearful of a future in which they will be made “redundant“, according to World Economic Forum (WEF) advisor Yuval Noah Harari, who said “We just don’t need the vast majority of the population” in the early 21st century given modern technologies.” Harari’s extraordinary remarks were made in an interview with Chris Anderson, the head of TED, published on Tuesday, and represent the strongest warning yet that Klaus Schwab’s WEF is intent on depopulating the world. The WEF advisor assessed widespread anxiety among “common people” as being rooted in a fear of being “left behind”...

Pushes global emergency-response health squad under the acronym GERM ... While pushing a billion dollar ‘pandemic prevention’ global government health ‘solution’ at a TED Talk this week, Bill Gates addressed ‘conspiracy theories’ regarding himself and COVID vaccines, calling those who speak about them “crazy.” In an appearance at the TED2022 conference in Vancouver, Canada, Gates declared that it was “somewhat ironic” that protesters had gathered outside the venue because he has “saved tens of millions of lives.” Gates said that “The Gates Foundation is very involved in vaccines, the invention of new vaccines, funding vaccines. So it’s somewhat ironic to...

“A prior indigenous technological species might have arisen on ancient Earth or another body, such as a pre-greenhouse Venus or a wet Mars,” he wrote. ... Earth’s plate tectonics would effectively have “erased” the traces of a civilization that lived billions of years ago. Venus is in the grip of a severe greenhouse effect and also undergoes similar “resurfacing” that would scour it clean of artifacts. This leaves just a handful of places where archaeologists might find traces of a lost extraterrestrial civilization. “Remaining indigenous technosignatures might be expected to be extremely old, limiting the places they might still be...

PBS's Judy Woodruff followed up on widely criticized comments Clinton made Monday and asked the former president how he thought the scandal impacted Lewinsky. "You paid a price. Do you think Ms. Lewinsky paid a higher price, a harder price?" Woodruff asked. "Oh, I don’t know. I think she paid quite a price. But the price that...

This Ted Talk should be required viewing by every member of the BLM and the EPA. The first couple of minutes he starts off talking like a typical climatologist, mentioning fossil fuels. But then he takes an interesting turn. He's an Ecologist originally from Africa. And he's actually been responsible for implementing a number of land management policies throughout his career that have failed miserably. His conclusions on land management end up being the opposite of what we commonly hear. And what's more, he's had a chance to implement those solutions on 5 different continents and has seen outstanding success.

Last year, Elizabeth Holmes topped the FORBES list of America’s Richest Self-Made Women with a net worth of $4.5 billion. Today, FORBES is lowering our estimate of her net worth to nothing. Theranos had no comment. Our estimate of Holmes’ wealth is based entirely on her 50% stake in Theranos, the blood-testing company she founded in 2003 with plans of revolutionizing the diagnostic test market. Theranos shares are not traded on any stock market; private investors purchased stakes in 2014 at a price that implied a $9 billion valuation for the company. Since then, Theranos has been hit with allegations...
