Over the past few years, there have been a couple different big screen projects with ties to the Looney Tunes in development. At one time the iconic animated characters like Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and more were going to get rebooted in an animated Looney Tunes feature. A couple years later, some kind of spin-off was in the works called Acme with Steve Carell attached. But we haven't heard anything about those projects since they were announced. Now it looks like Warner Bros. has turned their attention back to bringing individual characters to the big screen. They're going to start...

White Double SO FAR, the only ones we have seen standing round the Crib of our Jesus have been Martyrs: Stephen, overwhelmed with the shower of stones; John, the Martyr in heart, who survived his fiery torture; the Holy Innocents, massacred by the sword; Thomas, murdered in his Cathedral—these are the champions of Christ, who keep guard in the palace of Bethlehem. Yet all Christians are not called to be Martyrs. Besides this countless battalion of the King’s favorite soldiers, there are other troops of sainted heroes which form the heavenly army—and amongst these, there are the Confessors, who...

White Double GOD OFTEN brings the world to those who flee from it, as Sylvester Gozzolini among others experienced. In the thirteenth century, the world, all in admiration at the sanctity and the eloquence of the new Orders, seemed to have forgotten the monks and the desert. God, who never forgets, led his elect silently into solitude, and the wilderness began again to rejoice and flourish like the lily; strength was restored to the weak hands and feeble knees of the sons of the cloister. The austerities of olden days and the fervor of prolonged prayer were revived at...

Donald Trump has drawn ‘first blood’ in the search for his incoming administration's senior arts role - by tapping up Rambo legend Sylvester Stallone. Sources have told DailyMail.com the president-elect sees Hollywood icon Stallone as the perfect choice to make art great again. The likely position would be Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency that doles out funds to aspiring artists and creative projects. If Stallone is formally offered that job, his appointment will have to be approved by Congress. Origins: Like previous death hoaxes involving actors (including Jackie Chan), the Sylvester Stallone death hoax circulating on social media sites appears to stem from common culprit mediafetcher.com, a "fake news" generator. Several such sites exist, allowing Facebook and Twitter users to plug a celebrity's name into the generator and produce a "news story" reporting the star's recent death. While these death hoaxes appear on Facebook and Twitter with relative frequency, the most recent iteration of the Sylvester Stallone death hoax looks to be slightly different. Most links point back to a specific domain that appears to be a "clickjack"...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLJ1m7artbE It's hard to imagine Hollywood making an animated short with this message nowadays but back in 1954, WB produced this Looney Tune teaching a short primer on capitalism and in favor of it! After seeing all those DNC delegates tell Peter Schiff how they want to "ban profit" makes me realize how many folks need to watch this cartoon.

This is what we see time and again at the hands of the same Left that manufactured a month's long non-troversy over a word Rush Limbaugh spoke. While, on one hand, the left and their media allies feign outrage over Limbaugh, on the other hand, they either willfully ignore or launch vile, sexist attacks against conservative women that go well beyond anything that can in any way be called satire or humor. Wisconsin Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch is a wife, mother, and a cancer survivor. She's currently being targeted for recall and by some of the ugliest personal attacks you'll...

MADISON, Wis. - (KRT) - African-American leaders in Madison on Friday criticized a local radio personality, calling his use of the pejorative Aunt Jemima to describe Condoleezza Rice insulting and inappropriate. The talk show host, John Sylvester, did little to mollify those he offended. Instead, he apologized to the character Aunt Jemima and gave away boxes of pancake mix and syrup on his morning show. Sylvester, a white man who performs as Sly on WTDY-AM 1670, said he respected the woman who portrayed Aunt Jemima to advertise pancake mix in the early 1900s. "It is with a heavy heart that...
