My son in law's niece, and my niece, eating pickles on Christmas morning. They still managed to put away dinner. I couldn't get any of the boys to stand still long enough for a pic. I hope y'all had a fine Christmas too!

On the 11th daughter Mary headed out with me all set for the day. I made a latrine run, got back in bed, fell asleep, and at some point my oxygen cannula detached.Mary started getting weird phone calls about mid afternoon, came home and I was having big time problems.At any rate, no evident brain damage (it never has been), but I feel pressure washed, too many drugs, too many needles, too much hospital food (I am eating salty stuff to catch up as I write)I'm gonna hang in the background for a few, but I'm home.

It could have been a very difficult conversation, but that old fart know's his own mind, as well as anyone within listening distance all the time. The doctors agree that there is no chance that continued Life Support will get him any closer to ever coming off of the mechanically controlled assistance to live his life the way he wants to.They have assured me that he is not aware of what he is going through. Swampsniper is in the hospital. We called 911 this morning at 1AM. He is OK for the most part. Just really scared us. He is in room 4023 in Flagler here locally. He asked me to let you know what was going on. He should be coming home soon, and I may have over-reacted but I'd rather err on that side of caution in this case.

Just back from the doctors office, got the wrapper off of my left eye. When everything settles down I'm gonna have close to 20/20 in both eyes!It's a different world and it sure is pretty!

I take 2 medications known to aggravate cataracts and Glaucoma. The cataracts are becoming a major problem.I got checked out this morning, no Glaucoma, no macular degeneration and the cataracts can be eliminated.I've been sweating this one out for a while.Surgery on the right eye May 29th, June 19 for the left.

With my Minolta 50mm f1.4.I like it! It's good for another 26 years.

It was hot today. I had a Dr. appointment, About time I got out of there the tide was high. I figured the birds would be headed to the little pond to drink and bathe. They started showing up about the time I did. The Great Egrets like to squat down and soak for a while, then they stand up and shake. When they're down in the water they don't look very big.

I have never posted a vanity, however I would like to know if anyone has heard from our beloved FRiend or his daughter regarding SWAMPSNIPER. The last I heard he wasn't well and had moved in with his daughter. His photography was/is beautiful! I miss him and have been worried. He should be published. No reply from FRmail. Thanks Everyone!

Just checking in with an update. He called a bit ago from his cell phone... (after self-removing his Oxy mask to do so, but we will not go there. hehe) They FINALLY officially admitted him after 10 hours in the ER. I'll be going back in to the hospital at 8 AM to see who is winning the battle, but personally, my money is on him. The way I see it, if he is still capable of battle, it's a good thing. If all goes well, they will let us take him home tomorrow. We have his room all ready....

In 1954 Daytona had the only "hill" in this part of Florida, probably still does, LOL! Hey, I won a Burgess vibrating spray gun!
