After a yearlong tour in northern Iraq and a dangerous and controversial four-month extension in Baghdad, the 172nd Stryker Brigade Combat Team is coming home. Indianapolis - A Fishers brownie troop is making a positive impact on our men and women serving overseas. Girls with Brownie Troop 1916 attended a "support the troops rally" in downtown Indianapolis at the Indiana War Memorial Sunday afternoon. They are helping lift the spirits of Marines overseas. The troop has been sending cookies and other goodies to a Marine division in Iraq. The soldiers wrote back letters thanking the girls for their generosity.
