EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon is defending its decision to tell one of its delivery drivers to remove a "Support Our Troops" magnet from the state-owned truck he uses at work. In light of the fact that so much money is obviously spent promoting the Academy Awards, buying dresses and jewels, Hollywood should do the right thing and cancel this elaborate celebration. Money that would have been spent by Hollywood should instead, be donated to American military families who have lost loved ones or may be suffering economic hardship as a result of deployment. A formal ceremony is scheduled at Lambert International Airport tonight when the plane carrying Corporal Matthew Wyatt is expected to arrive. His body will be escorted off the plane by a number of Marines, including Wyatt's own father. Corporal Matthew Wyatt was 21 years old and a graduate of Belleville West High School. He was killed in a car bombing near the Iraq border on Friday. He had been performing guard duty at the time....
