Since writing the widely-published poem "Fightin' Words," I've had some emails and posted comments indicating the belief that I'm just another rightwing, media-hating nutcase with an ax to grind. Actually, I'm more of a moderately conservative nut case and I'm not against the media as a whole, just some segments. Nor am I against all combat reporters. Kevin Sites, a reporter of recent notoriety, has one of my poems, "The Sheepdogs," on his website, and I have seen a few comments on various blogs that the very presence of my poem, which is a tribute to our warrior class, is...

I was wondering if anyone here on FR could tell me how some of these brain-dead liberals that keep "paying tribute" to Veterans on this Veteran's Day voted on the $87 billion to support our troops? So far I read a letter to the editor in the Long Beach Press-Telegram from Juanita Millender-McMillan and watched Sheila Jackson-Lee on Hannity and Combes pay tribute to Veterans, but I suspect it's just lip-service. Tried to google but all I got was sKerry

I hooked up with the Louisville Chapter of Protest Warrior for some good post-election FReeping of LPAC's (Louisville Peace Action Committee) Monthly candlelight vigil in the heart of Leftist Louisville, The Highlands. On hand were 8 of us vs. 30-40 of them. I arrived at 5:00PM and set up across from Heine Bros. Coffee where many of the Lefties slink into before their protests. All I had was Old Glory and my trusty "Pacifists Are Freedom's Parasites" sign (which was mentioned in the article!) Help soon arrived from Protest Warrior and we set up under the lone streetlight at the...

Rep Cox has shown incredible forsight and leadership strength. He was, and continues to be, the sole public figure warning the US against the motives of Mainland China. As the number of apologists for China increase, Rep Cox's voice becomes even more essential. That alone should qualify him for a position on the cabinet. But Rep Cox also has been a tireless supporter of military strength even years before 9/11. Read his bio here: http://cox.house.gov/html/bio.cfm. I am pushing for Republicans to contact the White House and request the Rep Cox be part of the new administration.
