We had a fantastic showing today at Memorial park in Colorado Springs. At least 400 people with flags and posters lined the street at the Park while drivers passed by blowing horns. There was plenty of spirit with no problems like the anti-type had. In fact there was only about 4 policemen there. I talked to one and he said they didn't expect any problems from us. He was right. This rally was organized by a 16 year old! Makes me glad to know that our future leaders might be OK after all. With all the military in this area,...

A wonderful rally was held in East Haven, Ct, to support the troops serving our country oveseas. Local radio station WELI received some requests for help in acquiring donated goods for our troops, and decided to hold a rally where people could meet and drop off goods or donations for our troops. The Rally was also sponsored by the group Militarymoms.net, a fine group that has created a website with a list of suggestions for things to send to the troops.

A coalition of organizations is organizing multiple rallies across the country next weekend to give people who support military action against Iraq a chance to publicly take a stand. I've been thinking about the way that America has been responding to France. I can admit that I have been increasingly frustrated by their lack of support and can fully support the method in which others are dealing with this situation.
