We had a fantastic showing today at Memorial park in Colorado Springs. At least 400 people with flags and posters lined the street at the Park while drivers passed by blowing horns. There was plenty of spirit with no problems like the anti-type had. In fact there was only about 4 policemen there. I talked to one and he said they didn't expect any problems from us. He was right.
This rally was organized by a 16 year old! Makes me glad to know that our future leaders might be OK after all. With all the military in this area, the kids know what the issues are and seem to be involved with the "good" side.
I tried to find the other freepers but missed them. It was pretty crowded!
I'll try to have pics in a few days.

A minnesota rally for Saturday is also being organized by the teenager.
There are no rallies here in KS being organized that I am aware of for Saturday.....makes me feel like I should try to start one, but while I have plenty of time (off for spring break from college), it seems like a daunting task. Hopefully, somebody will organize one.

I would be proud to fly the BRITS flag with all the support they have given to us in this cause.

Sorry I missed you. The wife and I were heading there with the boys but we noticed the St Pat's parade was going on in Old Colorado City. My 4 & 5 year old enjoy that parade too much and it directly conflicted.
Suffice to say, I was there in spirit if not in body.

Good point. I asked several people if they knew of Free Republic in hopes of finding "my people"!
We (Colorado Springs) need to be organized for the next rally.

America's Finest - The SpearTip of Freedom. (Photos of our deploying troops - share yours)
"The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending at all hazards; and it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair inheritance from our worthy ancestors; they purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle, or be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men." Samuel Adams
An air cushion landing craft passes an American flag as it carries U.S. Marines with the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit to waiting ships from Onslow Beach in Camp Lejeune, N.C., Wednesday March 5, 2003. More than 2,300 Marines and sailors deployed Wednesday.
