    Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and polar explorer Will Steger will host a forum on climate change in Ely next Friday. The two-hour January 4 community forum will explore, "the impact of climate change in Minnesota and opportunities for solutions." Earlier this month, Pawlenty floated the idea of joining Steger for a period during the explorer's 2008 expedition to the Canadian Arctic. The governor has not yet committed to that trip.
