Heavy firing broke out at the headquarters of the Army's 15 Corps in Srinagar on Tuesday evening. The firing erupted at 6.30 pm, immediately after the breaking of the Ramadan fast, at the gate of the corps headquarters, located in the heavy security Badami Bagh neighbourhood. "There is a heavy exchange of fire going on outside. I can't tell you anything more at this stage," a defence spokesman said on the telephone. The Al-Mansoorian terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack, which has spread panic in the city.
