Serial trophy hunter Aryanna Gourdin poses proudly alongside a majestic giraffe she has just gunned down in a picture that sparked a furious backlash from animal lovers. But the 12-year-old, who has a string of kills to her name, defiantly vowed never to give up shooting wild beasts and churned out the disputed claim that blood sport like this is a conservation measure that stops the decline in big game numbers. Aryanna shares the images of her and each dead creature on her Facebook page complete with captions bragging about the deaths, despite insisting she “loves” animals. In one sick...

Drone journalism is coming to a newspaper and TV station near you within 60 days. New Federal Aviation Administration rules on the flying devices opens the door to newsrooms using drones to cover events, peer into buildings and capture images like never before, according to the founder of the Drone Journalism Lab at the University of Nebraska. "In 60 days, drone journalism will be legally possible in any newsroom in the United States. That's not to say it will be easy, but it will be legally possible in ways that it has never been before," wrote Matt Waite.

FNN exclusive: The Obama administration, still smarting from the disclosure of their previous fake skeet shooting, scheduled a skeet shooting session with reporters and cameras invited. Obama, aka "The One", had Reggie Manlove as his partner for the session. Obama had his Roy Rogers outfit on: Mom jeans, Roy Rogers boots with matching buckskin shirt and white hat and Reggie had his Dale Evans outfit on: leopard skin pattern leotards, Dale Evans boots with matching pink silk blouse with yellow scarf and dayglow orange hat. Ande4rson Cooper and Chrissy Matthews both had to leave early after wetting themselves due to...
  • Will Skeet Cause President Obama's Downfall? [Intended as satire]

Until recently, we knew little about the evolution, life and death of skeet. A recent article now fills that great void. A scholarly treatise by Mr. Gary Abernathy, publisher of The Times-Gazette in Hillsboro, Ohio, deals with the evolution of skeet culminating in their short and pitiful lives and violent deaths. It seemed necessary to post a link and an excerpt here as quickly as possible because of the great but previously unsatisfied longing for reliable information on the subject. I do so despite my concern that it may detract from the attention otherwise likely to be paid to President...

In what is probably his most laughable feat of demagoguery to date, President BHO tried to control the damage he'd done running his big mouth with the release of a photo you're supposed to accept as a proof that he "goes shooting all the time"—and therefore it's perfectly OK if he decides to rule out the American people's natural right to do so. At least that's out it looks like, seen from here. The White House warned that this picture shall not be manipulated in any way (insecure much Barry?), and that's fine by me. Photoshopping news items is so...

This piggybacks onto my post yesterday perfectly. The lengths our MSM goes to to protect this President, unlike any other President, is just plain disgusting: http://www.mrctv.org/videos/nbcs-lauer-frets-over-obama-gun-photo-now-president-always-has-back-his-words-proof During a panel discussion on Tuesday's NBC Today about the White House releasing a photo of President Obama skeet shooting to dispel doubt about his claim of doing it "all the time," co-host Matt Lauer worried about the precedent that had been set: "So like releasing the birth certificate a year or so ago, this is the next step, that now the President always has to back up his words with proof?" Lauer's concern...

I really couldn't care less if Obama shot skeet or not. The photo released by the White House shows that this is probably the first time this man has ever fired a shotgun, much less shot a round of skeet. However, it does show something blatantly obvious - he doesn't appear to be standing at a shooting station at the Camp David skeet range. Below is a photo from the UK Daily Mail of the Camp David skeet range. See any differences? http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2013/02/02/article-2272417-174E1F37000005DC-87_634x446.jpg

The recently released photograph of President Obama reportedly “Taken at Camp David – the Maryland presidential retreat – on August 4, 2012, his 51st birthday,” is a complete fake. As a lifelong shotgunner, I immediately smelled a rat. Nothing in the photo looks right and upon closer examination, it is a complete fraud. One need go no further than examining the ports on the shotgun. ... One will immediately notice that there is smoke coming from the right side of the gun in the photo as well as out the front. The only problem is that there is no smoke...

I'm sure we've all seen by now the "photo op" of President Obama shooting skeet. If he's shooting skeet then I'm Daffy Duck. Now, what's wrong with the president's picture? First the weapon is nearly level to the ground. Can't be skeet shooting, nor likely trap either. Second, it is evident that the President has never shot a shotgun before as his stance is leaning slightly backward. Look at the position of his torso to his legs. Skeet or trap shooters never do this. They lean slightly forward like a boxer in the ring. Third, he doesn't know or was never...

Day 2 and the controversy heats up: Did Big Guy play golf or go shootin’ on his birthday? First, some information on background: Despite being surrounded by well-equipped Secret Service agents at all times, BO insists on packin’ his own: Oh yeah; it’s big. It’s black. It’s powerful. It’s Barry’s Black-Barry (BBB), and it’s smokin’ hot. BBB allows him to shoot off important text messages at any time:    After handling another crisis, Big Guy returns his piece to its holster: For an experienced shooter like BO, there is no doubt in my mind that he could squeeze in both...

As a lifelong shotgunner, I immediately smelled a rat. Nothing in the photo looks right and upon closer examination, it is a complete fraud. One need go no further than examining the ports on the shotgun. Ports are tiny holes sometimes drilled near the muzzle (the business end of the gun) to release energy and reduce recoil. They serve as a pressure release valve of sorts. One will immediately notice that...

I'm sure we've all seen by now the "photo op" of President Obama shooting skeet. If he's shooting skeet then I'm Daffy Duck. Skeet [clay disks of bright colors] are thrown by a machine from two towers erected to the right and left of the shooter. (There are other set ups like ones used for "sporting clays" but that isn't represented in the White House photo release.) Usually, the skeet is thrown about ten or more feet above the ground. The shooters are arranged in a semi-circle at various stations around the semi-circle. The "group" of shooters lines up at...

The White House has released a photo of President Obama skeet shooting at Camp David from August, 2012, attempting to quell a controversy that arose when Obama said that he sympathized with hunters because he frequently went shooting himself. “Attn skeet birthers. Make our day - let the photoshop conspiracies begin!,” former White House advisor David Plouffe tweeted in a message containing a link to a photo of Obama brandishing a shot gun and wearing ear muffs and sun glasses. Conservative critics questioned the veracity of the Obama’s claims of skeet shooting because he had never been seen publicly shooting...

Barack Obama recently told the New Republic that he understands the concerns of gun owners, because “in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time.” As critics chortled over both the notion that skeet shooting is what concerns gun owners and the idea that Obama shoots clay pigeons “all the time,” the White House has finally released a photo to back up its claim … and only one photo, dated August 12, 2012: That led to a barrage of questions from journalists about whether the White House could offer proof that the president had gone shooting....
