Sheryl Crow is opening up about her headline-making move against Elon Musk, saying the public protest of selling her Tesla was a way for her to fight for her children’s future. The “Soak Up the Sun” singer shared a video on Instagram in February of her Tesla being towed away, saying she was donating funds from the sale of the vehicle to NPR in response to Musk and President Trump’s calls to slash federal funding for public broadcasters. NPR, Crow said at the time, is “under threat” by Musk, the CEO of Tesla and head of the Department of Government...

An Evangelical mission doctor has warned that millions of lives are at stake surrounding the potential dismantling of the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), as country music artists led by Amy Grant have called for the program's reauthorization. PEPFAR, launched in 2003 under President George W. Bush, is the largest global health initiative focused on a single disease, HIV/AIDS. PEPFAR has sent over $100 billion to more than 50 countries in the last two decades, providing antiretroviral therapy (ARVs) life-saving treatment and infrastructure support to regions most affected by the epidemic, particularly in Africa. However, recent aid...

‘Nothing is zero impact’: Should we ditch toilet paper to help the environment? Going to the toilet is universal but how often do we take the time to reflect on the environmental impact of our bathroom habits? Talking about your toilet exploits would not get you many invites to dinner parties, but what we do in there has significant effects on the environment and our health. It has also changed drastically throughout history. Until the last century, going to the toilet was not the cosy comfort that most of Europe knows today. Researchers believe that fragments of ceramic known as...

Tennessee legislator Justin Jones, a pro-gun control activist, tweeted: "We have an obligation to condemn Jason Aldean's heinous song calling for racist violence. What a shameful vision of gun extremism and vigilantism." But fans of Aldean rallied to his defence. One comment on the YouTube video accused the media of celebrating rap songs glorifying violence, "but a video by a country singer about self defense and neighbors looking out for each other is banned".

Sheryl Crow is stepping into the conversation being from a small town and calling out Jason Aldean after the country star was accused of promoting violence with the song “Try That in a Small Town.” “Jason Aldean, I’m from a small town. Even people in small towns are sick of violence,” Crow tweeted mentioning his colleague. “There’s nothing small-town or American about promoting violence. You should know that better than anyone having survived a mass shooting.” Crow continued, “This is not American or small town-like. It’s just lame.” Related Stories Jason Aldean's "Try That in a Small Town" music video...

Sheryl Crow joined the conversation about Jason Aldean’s controversial new song, “Try That in a Small Town,” saying he should know better. Aldean, 46, has been accused of promoting violence with his latest song, which includes the inflammatory lyrics: “Got a gun that my granddad gave me / They say one day they’re gonna round up / Well, that ^%^% might fly in the city, good luck / Try that in a small town.” As a small-town girl herself, Missouri native Crow, 61, called out the country singer for putting out false impressions.

Singer Sheryl Crow reacted to the U.S. Supreme Court overruling Roe v. Wade on Friday, proclaiming, “I do not recognize my country.” “Don’t know what to even say. I do not recognize my country,” Crow said in an Instagram post. “We fight to hang on to our military grade weapons. We battle over the smallest of steps toward protecting our families from being shot in grocery stores or at concerts. We suggest arming our teachers rather than facing down the political power of the NRA,” the singer continued. “And now, we take away the right of a woman to have...

"All I wanna do is have some fun," sang Sheryl Crow once, but it appears her desires have since changed. Now all she wants to do is limit the use of toilet paper to one sheet per visit. The singer made her declaration in an article for the Huffington Post to help promote her Stop Global Warming College Tour, an 11-date tour explaining the perils of global warming to Americans. Accompanied by Laurie David, activist and wife of comedian Larry David, the pair have been criss-crossing the country in a biodiesel-powered bus spreading the word on the bathroom hygiene of...

Armstrong was open about his doping with Crow, never suspecting that she would tell anybody about it. "Rather than try to hide the transfusion from her, Armstrong was completely open about it," the authors write, according to the Daily News. "He trusted that Crow would have no desire to tell the press or anyone else about the team's doping program. He explained that it was simply part of the sport - that all cyclists were doing the same thing."

Our government is yet again marching us towards a war of choice in the Middle East and our non-partisan, peace-loving celebrities have gone missing since late 2008. We fear the worst. 1. Sheryl Crow LAST KNOWN PRE-2009 COMMUNICATION: “I think war is based in greed and there are huge karmic retributions that will follow. I think war is never the answer to solving any problems. The best way to solve problems is to not have enemies.” — Sheryl Crow 2. Bruce Springsteen LAST KNOWN PRE-2009 COMMUNICATION: “War. What is it good for? Absolutely nothing.” — Bruce Springsteen

Republicans spend too much time complaining about liberals boycotting the advertisers on conservatives’ shows and not enough time doing the same thing to the Left. If movie stars trash conservatives, we should be very publicly telling people we're not going to their films and we should take credit if they bomb. If a corporate CEO embraces liberalism, don't buy that company’s products and tell the world why you're doing it. Let him explain to his board of directors why standing up for gay marriage or abortion was worth losing millions of dollars. Seventy percent of the country is Christian, roughly half the country supports the Republican Party and forty percent of Americans are conservative. There are a lot of businesses, artists and musicians who simply cannot survive without the support of people like us. The only reason they dare to trash us or publicly support people who hate our guts is because we all too often shrug our shoulders and then willingly hand over our money to people who despise us.

Sheryl Crow believes excessive cell phone use may be to blame for the benign tumor in her brain. Crow just appeared on Katie Couric's new show and said the tumor is located in her "cell phone area" ... and says, "I do have the theory that it's possible that it's related to [cell phone use]." Crow admits her theory has not been confirmed by doctors, but says she's convinced because "[in the] early early days when I was promoting my first record, I did hours of phoners on the old archaic cell phones." The singer says it became difficult to...

"It's fascinating times that we're living in," Crow said on "The Gayle King Show" on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network. Singer Sheryl Crow has become the latest celebrity to get caught in the real estate crash. She can’t sell her sprawling Nashville mansion, so she has gone to the extreme — putting it up for auction at a bargain basement price. We all know that Sheryl Crow despises Sarah Palin because she's a skanky Marxist hag who hates the nation and economic system that made her fabously wealthy and able to charter private jets between concerts. The fawning Left Wing media gave her huge voice this week in her Sarah-slamming cry for help. An excerpt: Short-order politicians

Sheryl Crow: Tea Partiers are too ‘Uneducated’ to ‘Understand What’s Happening on Wall Street’ By Alana Goodman Created 06/28/2010 - 16:39 Pop-star and courageous anti-toilet-paper crusader [0] Sheryl Crow apparently has a new political concern: Tea Partiers. The country crooner told CBS journalist Katie Couric that Tea Party members are uneducated, angry and potentially dangerous in an interview [1] with Glamour magazine this June. After Crow complained in the interview that Americans have become too blasé about politics, and that nobody has taken to the streets to cause "a riot or a revolution," Couric correctly pointed to the Tea Party...

Global Warming: If the rock stars who flew hundreds of thousands of miles in their jets to save the earth wanted to hug trees, they could have hugged the forest that once covered Greenland. We didn't see Sheryl Crow passing out single-sheet allotments of toilet paper to Live Earth concert-goers. But we did see perhaps the biggest-ever exercise in hypocrisy and futility as performers around the globe plugged in and amped up to save the earth from the climate impact of excessive energy consumption. John Rego, environmental director of Live Earth, insists the multi-continent charade, like the mansions of Gore,...
