I cannot stand today’s modern liberalism. It used to advocate freedom from tyranny, but now it advocates a new form of tyranny at the expense of freedom. It does exactly the opposite now of what it used to do at this country’s founding. The political cycle works in this fashion. When Conservatives are in office for a long time, the people veer left, and when liberals are in office, the people veer right.
