BEFORE OMAR MATEEN charged into the Pulse nightclub in Orlando and killed 49 people in June 2016, the FBI conducted two so-called assessments, the bureau’s term of art for limited national security investigations that do not require probable cause. In both cases, the bureau determined that Mateen was not a potential terrorist. During the attack, while barricaded in a bathroom, Mateen suggested to hostage negotiators that he had committed the nightclub massacre in response to U.S. airstrikes in Syria and Iraq, including one that killed senior Islamic State member Abu Wahib. “You have to tell America to stop bombing Syria...

Okay, sorry, but this is just too damn funny not to share. Staunch Clinton supporter and New York politician Christine Quinn gets pretty mad when CNN’s Kayleigh McEnany finds her answer to the question “What attracted the father of the Orlando terrorist to your campaign?” downright hilarious. After a long day of outrage from Republicans, Hillary Clinton's campaign finally disavowed on Tuesday night the support of Orlando nightclub shooter Omar Mateen's father, who sat behind her at a Kissimmee, Florida rally Monday and said he was a supporter. Seddique Mateen, whose son Omar killed 49 people at Pulse nightclub on June 12, was seen grinning as he watched the Democratic presidential nominee speak from the area behind the podium usually reserved for VIPs. The Clinton campaign had ignored requests for comment, and the Democratic presidential nominee was seen ignoring a reporter's question on the matter at a...

The father of the man who killed 49 people in a gay Orlando nightclub in June has endorsed Hillary Clinton’s presidential bid, appearing behind Clinton at a rally in Kissimmee, Florida, last night. “Hillary Clinton is good for United States versus Donald Trump, who has no solutions,” Seddique Mateen, father of deceased shooter Omar Mateen, told WPTV. Of his attendance at the rally, Mateen said: “It’s a Democratic party, so everyone can join.” The Clinton campaign has issued a short statement stating that Mateen was not invited to the Kissimmee event, despite his proximity to the candidate. “The rally was...

When Hillary Clinton spoke to an Orlando crowd, she was also speaking to a cheering Seddique Mateen. Mateen, father of Orlando shooter Omar Mateen, was sitting directly behind the Democratic nominee and sported a grin from ear to ear.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Pulse survivors Jacobi Ceballo and Christopher Hansen had no idea they were in the same room as the father of shooter Omar Mateen until hours after a Monday rally for Hillary Clinton ended in Kissimmee. "I opened up my Facebook and it was the first thing I saw," Hansen said. "I was like, 'Oh!'" But Ceballo wasn't only surprised, he was angry. "I'm outraged," he said. "For him to come back to Orlando, where his son created devastation, was also mind-blowing. If I would have known that, I would have not come." Ceballo attended the rally as...

Similar to how the “Big Three" played down the alleged ransom payment to Iran, the nets chose to focus primarily on a Donald Trump controversy instead of a Hillary Clinton one. On Monday Clinton held a rally in Orlando, Florida and in attendance was Seddique Mateen, the father of the Orlando nightclub terrorist, while on Tuesday Trump used innuendo to suggest that 2nd Amendment supporters would somehow stop Clinton. In all, the nets dedicated over 4 times the coverage to Trump, rather than Clinton, during their Tuesday evening broadcasts. Combined ABC, CBS, and NBC, dedicated 7 minutes, 31 seconds to...

On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Lead,” CNN Political Commentator and Adviser to a pro-Hillary Super PAC Paul Begala stated that the Clinton campaign should disavow the support it received from Seddique Mateen, the father of the perpetrator of the Pulse nightclub terrorist attack, who showed up to a Clinton rally, and “fire the advance person.” Begala said that if he could advise them, he would tell the Clinton campaign to “disavow him. She doesn’t want his support, and her campaign doesn’t want his support. It may take a while to get their act together. Candidate’s here. The vice presidential...

The Orlando gay club gunman's father has well-known anti-American views and is an ideological supporter of the Afghan Taliban. A new message posted by the father on Facebook early Monday morning also makes it clear he could have passed anti-homosexual views onto his son. Seddique Mir Mateen, father of Orlando gunman Omar Mateen, who died in a shootout with police after killing at least 49 people early Sunday morning, regularly attended Friday prayers at a Florida mosque with his son. Seddique Mateen hosts a program on a California-based satellite Afghan TV station, aimed at the Afghan diaspora in the in...

Endorsements that matter You’ll remember Seddique Mateen as the father of the terrorist who slaughtered 49 innocent victims in the Orlando nightclub attack. He’s an all-around “swell guy” who hosted an anti-American YouTube talk show and proudly supported the Taliban. In case there was any doubt about who he’d be backing in the 2016 election, he wants to make sure you know that he’s supporting Hillary Clinton - a woman he says “is good for United States.”

The answer to the question in the title is NO. Not only NO but also "of course not." NOBODY gets to sit behind a presidential candidate at a rally unless they are specifically INVITED to do so. Not only that the Secret Service wouldn't permit that. Therefore the Hillary Campaign is flat out lying when they said the shooter's father was not invited by them. This is a complete DISS of the families of the Orlando nightclub shootings.

The gay-hating, Taliban-supporting, Super Mario-moustached cat is well and truly out of the bag. Seddique Mateen, the father of the Orlando shooter is an ardent Hillary Clinton supporter. No offence to Mario. You’d think that Mateen might consider the ramifications for Clinton before openly supporting her, but it seems he just can’t contain his enthusiasm. He was pictured standing directly behind her at a recent rally in Florida, and even created his own sign praising her policies.

The backdrop at Hillary Clinton’s Orlando-area rally couldn’t get much stranger. In a startling appearance Monday evening, the father of ISIS-inspired Orlando nightclub gunman Omar Mateen showed up just steps away from the Democratic nominee, cheering her on and waving an American flag in the background – even as she paid tribute to the victims of his son’s terror rampage and condemned his “hatred.”

Hillary Clinton spoke to a crowd in Kissimee, just south of Orlando. She was supposed to be talking jobs, but started the speech off paying tribute to those affected by the Pulse Nightclub shooting. "I know how many people, families, loved ones, and friends are still grieving, and we will be with you as you rebuild your lives." WPTV happened to notice the man, who has a mustache and was wearing a red hat, behind Secretary Clinton. That's Seddique Mateen. We asked Mateen what he was thinking about when Clinton spoke about the Orlando incident. "We've been cooperating with the...

Holy cow, this is EPIC. Lets see if the national media reports on this story. The Florida DNC sent a rally invitation to the father of the Orlando Pulse Nightclub Terrorist, Omar Mateen. Well apparently Omar’s father, Seddique Mateen, a full-throated DNC supporter, accepted the invitation and was caught on camera sitting directly behind Hillary Clinton and cheering for her during the event in Kissimmee.

The father of Orlando mass shooter Omar Mateen has longstanding connections to prominent Islamist groups in the U.S., a document discovered by the Investigative Project on Terrorism shows. Seddique Matin is listed as president of a then-new American Muslim Alliance (AMA) chapter in Fort Pierce in a July 1997 announcement archived by the IPT.The AMA sponsored several radical conferences in the U.S. and its leader, Agha Saeed, has spoken in defense of convicted terrorists, including Aafia Siddiqui (a.k.a "Lady al-Qaida"), Palestinian Islamic Jihad board member Sami Al-Arian, and Pakistani intelligence lobbyist Ghulam Nabi Fai.The Fort Pierce chapter is among 10...
