Aner Shapiro, 22, died in the brutal October 7 Hamas music festival massacre, as he protected partygoers and caught seven deadly explosives with his bare hands. His mother told Kan News that Shapiro stood by the entrance of a bomb shelter where around 30 festival goers were hiding from the attack - tossing the grenades back outside. “He stood at the entrance, and threw the grenades out and he managed to save so many people,” she said. Chilling video shows Hamas gunmen swarming the shelter and tossing explosives in repeatedly for several minutes.

The weaponization of the legal system to advance a political agenda turns the rule of law on its head. It is un-American. Five fired Memphis police officers were charged on Thursday with second-degree murder over the death of Tyre Nichols - who died three days after being beaten during a January 7 traffic stop.
