A U.S. District Judge has officially dropped key federal charges against former Louisville Police Detective Joshua Jaynes and Former Sgt. Kyle Meany regarding their alleged ‘involvement’ in Breonna Taylor’s death, which occurred back in 2020.
This week, U.S. District Judge Charles Simpson ruled that the officers in the case were not responsible for Taylor’s death, instead laying the blame at the feet of her criminal boyfriend, who opened fire on police the night of the raid.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Breonna Taylor was fatally shot in her apartment in March 2020 by officers who were executing a search warrant on Jamarcus Glover.

“Who cares now? The lie served its purpose”
A wild guess, the two Cops.
Those cops care. Excellent!

The guy used her as a shield. It’s sad that they let this lie go on.
That’s a badly written article. The boyfriend with Taylor who fired shots is not the criminal boyfriend for whom a warrant was issued.
The article mentions a warrant, a bad warrant, and a warrantless entry. Which is it?
+1
And their colleagues, and their brother and sisters in blue.
Thank God there are still some judges with courage and integrity.
And us freepers and anyone that respects the rule of law and justice.
“Say her name....say her name....”
Bravo Sierra!
Er, well yeah, now that you mention it.
Officer I was chatting with the other day was saying how difficult it is to recruit new policemen - mainly due to the bad press, false accusations, armchair quarterbacking, lawsuits, etc. The influx of illegals mean more population which means the officers they do have are spread thinner and thinner.
Say what you will, but the leftist’s plan is working.
You couldn’t pay me enough to be a cop in a big blue crap hole city.
Its back luck to date a gut named JaMarcus. but not as bad as dating JaVonte.

It was a little of all three. There was a warrant signed by a judge. But that warrant contained false information, namely statements from US postal inspectors that simply weren’t true.
When serving the warrant, the police shouted “police”, then an instant later broke down the door to the apartment. That was darn near a warrantless entry, as no one inside would have a second to think about what was really happening.
Don’t get me wrong. Breonna Taylor was a bad person. And so was her boyfriend. But the behavior of the police that night stunk. They used surprise infantry assault tactics after midnight. That was totally unnecessary. There were no hostages, no innocents who were in immediate danger.
We are drifting towards a militarized police society. I get that this is 100% due to insane Democrat policies. But it sure isn’t a good thing.
Does this mean we can stop saying her name? My voice was getting hoarse.
Thanks for the breaking news and thread!
Glad they got justice in the end! just so messed up what happened in this situation!
