Bernie Sanders will not formally nominate Hillary Clinton for president, in a gesture he will not offer that might otherwise have been another signal of unity and reconciliation for still-seething Bernie backers. 'He will not nominate her, Sanders spokesman Michael Briggs told DailyMail.com

Not seeing this reported at all. But I watched Bernie nominate Hillary (gave up his delegate votes to make it unanimous) and then bolt for the exit. Seemed strange to me. He was actually leading a walkout! Media hasn't reported it at all yet. Video evidence: Go to 1:50. He's just made it unanimous. Then about ten seconds later heads for the door: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iD6ZKqS5wak 1:50 here. "We followed Bernie's lead and we followed him out." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tGlg187eBV8 There's a live stream from a delegate that stayed showing how empty the place is after the Bernie delegates that left hit the exit....

There are at least 15,000 members of the media in Philadelphia right now, along with virtually every progressive movement leader and Democratic elected official in the country. Yet no one seemed aware that hundreds of Bernie Sanders delegates planned to walk out of the Democratic National Convention in unison Tuesday, at the precise moment party unity was supposed to reach a crescendo. The walkout, which came as Sanders personally moved to nominate Hillary Clinton by acclimation, left hundreds of seat on the convention floor empty ...

Bernie Sanders delegates believe that a number of high-profile names being mentioned as options for Hillary Clinton's running mate are unacceptable, and if she picks one of them, those delegates are be ready to protest the pick in Philadelphia at the Democratic National Convention in less than two weeks. According to a survey of Sanders delegates conducted by the Bernie Delegates Network, the numbers show "big concerns about Hillary Clinton's pending choice of a vice presidential candidate." [Snip] According to the online poll, a "vast majority" of surveyed delegates said that if Clinton picks someone they don't like, they would...

Did you know that Hillary supporter Barney Frank “was booed and shouted at as a "sellout" who should "go back to Massachusetts" by Sanders supporters at the Maine State Democratic Convention on Saturday? Somehow, the mainstream media managed to overlook this sign of the divisive passions rending the Democratic Party as its establishment strong-arms Hillary Clinton. Along with the incredible story of the Nevada State Convention where DNC officials fled, violence erupted and John Law had to be called in, signs are that the party is falling apart.

The violence and incivility at these Republican political events is simply intolerable. I don’t understand why voters would put up with such rudeness and the fundamental breakdown of what is supposed to be the proud tradition of our great American experiment. If the GOP continues on this path, the voters will surely reject them in November and… Wait. What? This was the Democrats? (Daily Caller) Upset Bernie Sanders supporters booed California Sen. Barbara Boxer , a Hillary Clinton supporter, during a contentious Nevada Democratic Convention Saturday.“We need civility in the Democratic Party, civility,” Boxer said as Sanders supporters booed the...

FULL TITLE: "DNC leaders flee Nevada State Dem Convention, call in sheriff’s deputies and hotel security as dispute over delegates escalates into violence"(video at link) Bitterness and violence erupted yesterday at the Democrats’ Nevada State Convention in Las Vegas, as 64 Sanders delegates were disqualified, allowing Clinton to take 7 of the 12 delegates up for grabs. Party officials there ignored a motion from the floor and rammed through a vote according to the wishes of the Clinton campaign. It’s almost as if the Hillary faction genuinely fears for the nomination it supposedly has sewn up. Along the way Barbara...
