DANE County Referendum on ballot for Tuesday, April 2: Should the state of Wisconsin continue to allow people to register to vote at the polss on Election Day?

<p>SACRAMENTO (AP) - New citizens could register to vote and vote on Election Day under a bill approved Wednesday by the state Senate.</p> <p>Current law requires people to be registered as voters at least 15 days before the election to vote in that election. A bill by Assemblywoman Jenny Oropeza, D-Long Beach, would allow new citizens to register up until Election Day and still vote in that election.</p>
