A completely non-binding referendum in the People’s Republik of Dane County.

Well, then. I suppose we'd all just might as well stay home, because an overwhelming vote in favor of abolishing same day registration from the most liberal county in the state wouldn't send any kind of message to anyone. ⁄s

The point is, you’re not going to get a vote to abolish it from either Dane or Milwaukee Counties. And even if you did, it’d mean nothing. Mind you, it’d mean nothing if Waukesha or Ozaukee counties vote overwhelmingly to abolish same-day registration, for the same reason.
The Leftists running the 2 major counties in our state love to put forth feel-good votes like this one (the city of Milwaukee is having a referendum as well, and it will mean nothing, other than a show of ‘force’)
The only binding vote on it I have seen was Nov 2012, when we restored a WiGOP majority to the Senate.
