SALINE COUNTY, Ark. - The sound of a barking dog echoes down terrace drive. A sound that may haunt Bobby Brimer. "I mean it hurts to even think about what I've seen," he said. Monday morning, returning from errands, he turned on a road he's driven up for 30 years, only to witness an horrific attack. "Seen these dogs dragging a woman down the road into the ditch." He jumped out of his truck with his cane and tree trimming tools and tried to beat away the 8 or 9 dogs from the helpless woman. "She was laying in the...

SALINA, Kan. (KAKE) -- The Saline County Sheriff's Office was inolved in a bizarre, 43-minute chase Saturday morning. It began when a deputy clocked a passing car on Interstate 70, travelling at over 90 mph. The deputy began pursuit of the driver as he traveled west towards Salina. The car was spraypainted with derogatory statements about law enforcement. The suspect was able to drive around spikes that were set up at the junction of I-70 and Highway 81. Eventually, the suspect drove into a soybean field. Sheriff Glen Kochanowski says the suspect then drove the car in circles for 40...

Arkansas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dr. Lynette Bryant’s complaint against the Arkansas Democratic Party was rebuffed as “misguided” by Democratic National Committee Chairperson Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fla). Dr. Bryant took exception to her primary opponent, Mike Ross, being described by Democratic Party officials as “the next governor of Arkansas.” She also protested being barred from speaking at Saline County’s Jefferson Jackson Dinner. “I can understand how Dr. Bryant—an African-American woman—might feel frustrated and belittled by the way she’s been treated,” Wasserman Schultz offered. “However, we need to focus on the big picture. The message of the Democratic Party is that...

Well, if this isn't a burgeoning political headache for the party of “tolerance” and “inclusiveness,” I don't know what is. An Arkansas Democratic gubernatorial candidate has filed two complaints against state organizations affiliated with the Democratic Party. She claims Arkansas Democrats snubbed her at a dinner by refusing to let her speak, and on a separate occasion, referred to her primary opponent as “the next governor of Arkansas”…as she sat and listened. From ABC’s affiliate KATV: Arkansas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dr. Lynette Bryant has filed a complaint against the Democratic Party of Arkansas and the Saline County Democratic Party...
