It is difficult to read former Newsweek reporter David Graham's "Trump the Survivor" which was published in The Atlantic magazine on Sunday without conjuring up images of Wile E. Coyote in perpetual pursuit of the Road Runner, who always manages to evade doom. In fact, the subtitle of Graham's story just reinforces the image of Trump as the Road Runner: "He always manages to find a way."You can almost feel Graham's Coyote level of frustration as his Road Runner Trump "always manages to find a way" over and over and over again to escape carefully planned doom. BEEP! BEEP!

The California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife said they used DNA analysis to link the attacks to the animal, which was euthanized and will be tested for rabies. The attacks began last summer in the town of Moraga, which borders Oakland. Five people, two children and three men, were bitten in a 2-mile area in Moraga and neighboring Lafayette. The searchers laid traps and used coyote urine to lure the aggressive animal. Several other coyotes were caught and euthanized before authorities trapped the target. The coyote approached and bit people without warning. Last month, it bit a 3-year-old girl as...

After Trump brought attention to the coyote epidemic at the southern border during the debates, Democrats on Twitter are offering unique solutions to the problem, such as setting up decoy roadrunners to distract the coyotes. "Everyone knows that a coyote's greatest nemesis is the roadrunner. That's just science," said AOC to reporters. "Trump has done nothing to stop the scourge of deadly coyotes smuggling innocent children into the concentration camps at the southern border. We need to do something with science to make it stop!" AOC and The Squad have partnered to promote legislation that would require large cardboard cutouts...

Earlier today, President Trump shared a video of House Intel Chair and lead Impeachment Manager Adam Schiff as Wile E. Coyote chasing the road runner. In the hilarious animated short, Schiff is wearing a coyote costume and continues to fail in his attempts to catch the road runner. Trump supporters found the cartoon funny and left positive responses on social media. Watch and judge for yourself.

President Donald Trump tried to paint pursuer Adam Schiff as a pitiful Looney Tunes character Wednesday as Democrats sketched out their case against him in his impeachment trial – while a team of lawmakers used their own color TV snippets to ensnare the president. Flying back from Switzerland, Trump retweeted a cartoon short in the style of a Coyote and Road Runner cartoon. His aide Dan Scavino had earlier tweeted it out during the president's trip overseas. The 90-second sketch did its best to ridicule the impeachment trial that Democrats have described as a serious affair with grave stakes for...

It’s a 1970 Plymouth Superbird that could be would be worth $250,000 or more if it were in great shape, which it very much isn’t. The rusted-out Nascar special gained attention on BarnFinds.com due to its rarity. It’s one of about 300 that were equipped with a 440 six-barrel V8 and a four-speed manual transmission. The seller says that the engine shows 48,000 miles and is original, but had the factory carburetor setup replaced with a dual quad unit at some point. The ‘Bird’s B-5 blue paint and white interior combination make it even more uncommon, but the fact that its...

Time Warner Cable has sent notices to 320,000 of its customers throughout the U.S., advising them to change the password to their email account out of concern that someone may have gained unauthorized access to that information. The telecommunication company said it was notified of the vulnerability by the FBI, but there’s no evidence to suggest that there was an actual breach. “Approximately 320,000 customers across our markets could be impacted by this situation,†explained Eric Mangan, director of public relations. “To protect the security of these customers, we are sending emails and direct mail correspondence to encourage them to...

This tweet from film director Amos Posner blew up across social mediayesterday. It's a photo taken at the What’s Up, Doc? The Animation Art of ChuckJones exhibit at the American Museum of Moving Image in New York: Jones' rules, first made public when he published them in his 1999 autobiography Chuck Amuck: The Life and Times of an Animated Cartoonist, areprobably pretty familiar to animation students and Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote fanatics. They are a fascinating testament to the need for clearly defined systems within a wacky creative process. Fun fact: In an interview for the book Hollywood...

Sue Polinsky had the first cable modem in Greensboro. Back in the late 1990s, when the Web designer found she needed more Internet speed than a telephone or DSL line could provide, she was happy to pay a premium. She’s been a Time Warner Cable customer ever since — even upgrading to the business-class service to run her company, Tech Triad, from home. But when she got wind of Time Warner’s plan to begin monitoring and capping how much data its Greensboro customers use, she said it could be summed up in one word. “Greed,” Polinsky said. “That’s all it...

An American military supercomputer, assembled from components originally designed for video game machines, has reached a long-sought-after computing milestone by processing more than 1.026 quadrillion calculations per second. ...To put the performance of the machine in perspective, Thomas P. D’Agostino, the administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration, said that if all six billion people on earth used hand calculators and performed calculations 24 hours a day and seven days a week, it would take them 46 years to do what the Roadrunner can in one day. ...The Roadrunner is based on a radical design that includes 12,960 chips that...

The last couple of days I've been seeing nearly constant interruptions of service, and quite a few slowdowns. I haven't changed anything here on my end. Of course, if it keeps up, I'll call customer service. I'm just wondering if I'm the only one seeing this.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- IBM will build a next-generation supercomputer for the U.S. Energy Department with the potential to achieve a sustained speed of 1,000 trillion calculations per second, or one petaflop, the department said on Wednesday. The new computer, dubbed "Roadrunner", will be built at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico. Congress provided $35 million in fiscal 2006, which ends on September 30, to launch the computer project. Roadrunner may eventually be used for an Energy Department program that ensures the U.S. stockpile of nuclear weapons is safe and reliable without the resumption of underground testing, the department...

Plymouth Road Runner History1968-1980 Introduction: By 1968, muscle cars had moved away from their street slepper image and had become option loaded, luxury machines that only the well to do could afford. Plymouth decided that what was needed was a return to basics. Starting with the stripped pillared coupe version of the Belvedere, it created a new breed of muscle car that packed maximum excitement with a minimum price. Just like the old days. 1968 Plymouth Road Runner Comments: In 1968, Plymouth decided that muscle cars had gotten too far from their original purpose: cheap (and very fast)...
