It was in a pecan tree.

Not sure if it was after the pecans for a pie.

I've laughed at the Road Runner/Coyote cartoons since I was a kid, and they still crack me up.

Sho'nuff!
So can foxes.
I had a young Beagle go almost 20 feet up a sloping Oak tree, chasing a cat, until he realized where he was, and stopped running. Looks like Beagles have the will, without the skill!

Ohh man, those dogs drive me crazy! I remember deer hunting when I was like 12 and some dork was out hunting rabbit or who knows what with a pack of those beagles, I could hear them coming wayyy off barking like crazy in the distance and i just knew no deer we going to be in the woods that day, as the barking got closer they were coming towards me but still way off, a really nice 8 pointer 154#'s ran right in front of my stand! it was bow season so it was to hard to get a shot off and I wouldn't have shot anyhow no way would it have been possible to hit it, even though it passed only 15 yards right in front of me. then like I don't know 10-15 minutes later the dumb guy with the dogs ended up right by my stand like 40 yards away and he (the guy) starts taking a dump! He didn't even know i was there! I stood up and yelled at him, "hey buddy do you think you can do that some place else?" LOL! he pulled up his pants and turned around so fast! he didn't say anything, he just left. about 2-3weeks later the opening day of gun season my dad killed that same Buck. Thats how i know how much it weighed. Anyhow thats my story about yapping beagles :)

"Bark"? Friend, you don't understand mountain music. Every sound a good hound makes tells you something about the chase. They brought the deer to you, not their fault you couldn't hit it.
I love to hear them sing.

yea right! try hitting a deer running full speed with an arrow! LOL those are some amazing animals, and the speed is incedible.
