LINCOLN, Neb. -- A Lincoln man has been charged with animal cruelty after police said he put his roommate's cat in a washing machine. Investigators said Richard Lynne Andersen, 22, put a video of the incident on his cell phone. On the video, investigators said you can see the machine spinning and hear Andersen laughing that the cat was "in the spin cycle." Andersen was charged with a misdemeanor.
