Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies have released a video of a barking Chihuahua angrily chasing off robbers at an Altadena smoke shop. As the store owner begins putting money in a backpack carried by one of the men, the owner’s Chihuahua begins barking incessantly and jumping at the men, chasing them out of the store and down the street. Neither the store owner, nor the dog was injured.

Two pit bulls went into a Richmond home on Sunnday and as they approached the 22-day-old infant, the family's Chihuahua put himself between the baby and the intruding dogs, police say. Zoey the Chihuahua is definitely not a lap dog. This five-pound dog has the courage of a lion. When Zoey saw a rattlesnake lunge at her owner’s one-year-old grandson, the bulldog came out of her. The child was in the backyard when a snake slithered up to the toddler and struck. Zoey jumped in between the child and the snake and took all of the bites instead.
