I need to access answers to posts I made here several years ago. I have never deleted any comments to me or by me. I know the information is there. Do any of you know how I can search previous posts/comments to me? I do not have time to go through page after page after page of responses.

Joe Biden’s ‘Build Back Better’ is not working as planned, or is it?Gas prices are at record highs, stock markets are down, parents are having difficulty finding a baby formula, and the cost of everything is way up.According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), there are currently no nationwide food shortages in the country.“There are currently no nationwide shortages of food, although in some cases the inventory of certain foods at your grocery store might be temporarily low before stores can restock,” the agency said on their website. “Food production and manufacturing are widely dispersed throughout the U.S. and...

The Naval Postgraduate School‘s Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS), in conjunction with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), maintains a K-12 school shooting database project as part of their Advanced Thinking in Homeland Security program. They found the need for accurate, detailed information on this subject was paramount to campus safety. The database documents every instance a gun is brandished, fired, or a bullet hits school property for any reason, regardless of the number of victims, time, day of the week, or reason. You can find the entire database here but we will highlight some of the important findings...

I remember some years ago it came out that a social studies study on conservatives vs liberals came out looking bad for conservatives, and then a couple of years ago it was found they had reversed one of the numbers for conservatives which had made them look much worse than they were (and possibly they were actually better than liberals despite having been reported as worse, but I am not sure about that). Does anyone remember this well enough to give me a clue how to find out more about it? I haven't been able to configure a search that...

What do people who don’t believe in evil do? They blame inanimate objects. Guns. 19 years ago, a middle-aged unemployed taxi driver carrying two milk cartons full of gasoline walked onto a South Korean subway and started a fire that killed 192 people. That was not a milk carton problem. Nor was it a gasoline problem. 6 years ago, a Muslim terrorist drove a truck into a Bastille Day event in Nice, France killing 86 and wounding over 400 other people. Body parts were being pried out of his wheel wells. That was not a truck problem. Across the long...

Climate change is an existential threat that impacts not only our operations and readiness but also our infrastructure, our forces, and their families. Rising sea levels, recurring flooding, and more frequent and destructive hurricanes threaten our coastal installations. Changes in global climate and other dangerous trans-boundary threats, including pandemics, are only expected to worsen, posing increasing challenges for our forces, platforms, infrastructure, and supporting communities, and driving or intensifying conflict and humanitarian disasters around the world. The DON will adapt to these challenges that are increasingly putting pressure on our force and the systems that support it. To combat these...

... Grooming can take place online or in-person. It’s usually employed by a family member or someone else in the victim’s circle of trust, such as a coach, teacher, youth group leader or others who naturally have some interaction with the victim. Though grooming can take many different forms, it often follows a similar pattern. Victim selection: Abusers often observe possible victims and select them based on ease of access to them or their perceived vulnerability. Gaining access and isolating the victim: Abusers will attempt to physically or emotionally separate a victim from those protecting them and often seek out...

The fastest times ever recorded in each Triple Crown race: All set by Secretariat at the 1973 Triple Crown. Kentucky Derby: 1:59 2/5 Preakness Stakes: 1:53 Belmont Stakes: 2:24 Of all of Secretariat’s memorable Triple Crown finishes, the Belmont is as much the best as Big Red was that day, when he finished 31 lengths - nearly the length of a football field - in front of his rivals. The dramatic distance between Secretariat and the rest of the field underscores how magical the race was to watch. But even more so is how Secretariat gradually opened up that lead....

Abstract Many social movements face fierce resistance in the form of a countermovement. Therefore, when deciding to become politically active, a movement supporter has to consider both her own movement’s activity and that of the opponent. This paper studies the decision of a movement supporter to attend a protest when faced with a counterprotest. We implement two field experiments among supporters of a right- and left-leaning movement ahead of two protest–counterprotest interactions in Germany. Supporters were exposed to low or high official estimates about their own and the opposing group’s turnout. ...Academically speaking, the right-leaning movement we study can more...

Many people on the right are seeking ways to escape the dumpster fire of Twitter. Since it’s Screen-Free Week, this seems a good time to ponder strategies for reducing our consumption of the propaganda and biased garbage proliferated by leftist corporate media and disseminated on social media. While I still read publications like the Washington Post regularly, I really do try to limit my consumption of such outlets for my mental and emotional health. Actually, my personal rule applies to all digital media, regardless of political affiliation. That’s for good reason, given the ever-growing evidence of how digital media affects...
