America was not built on the backs of politicians and government bailouts. It was built on private enterprise and free, hard-working, God-loving Americans. I had to laugh when this so-called brilliant President told us that he was going to create thousands of new jobs. It won’t matter how much taxpayer debt is poured into Work Progress Administration type jobs. It is not going to work. The American economy was built on private enterprise. It’s been six months since President Obama’s $787 billion dollar taxpayer expenditure was passed into law. Since they 2.8 million more Americans not only don’t have healthcare,...

SNIPPET: "Readers, we have a glitch in the al-Qaida Matrix. This is a 30 minute audio by, Shaykh Mansur al-Shami, entitled, “Advice to the People of Jihad.” I’ve seen his name a bunch over the past several years but only in writing, when he pens articles for the magazines, The Vanguards of Khorasan and Al-Sumud. There is also an “Abu Mansur al-Shami” whose poetry has been quoted by Bin Laden himself and whose work appears in the jihadist magazines. I don’t know if they are one-in-the-same. If so, the below list is incomplete as I have not included his writings...

It started earlier this week, FOX News began to e-mails from people who said they got an e-mail last week from senior adviser David Axelrod, even though they had never requested any communication from the White House. In the email, Axelrod defended President Obama's health care proposals and asked supporters to help rebut criticism circulating on the Internet. Axelrod wrote that opponents are relying on tactics including "viral e-mails that fly unchecked and under the radar, spreading all sorts of lies." "So let's start a chain of e-mail of our own," he wrote, and asked supporter to send his message...

SNIPPET: "One of the Chinese bloggers that I follow reported that Uyghur separatists have defaced a handful of Chinese .gov.cn sites. The hacker(s) are known as “Spy HackerZ” and their handy work can be found with a simple google search for “spy hackerz” site:gov.cn. There are eight results all from different local government sites. The Spy Hackerz use the defacements as opportunities to voice their opinion about perceived injustices. The sites’ admins have apparently been notified because the defacements are either removed or the sites are presently down. I grabbed this screenshot from the ‘iron circle’ blog:"

As I pointed out in my last post, the Left has many arrows in its quiver as it pursues its minority objective of imposing socialized medicine on an unwilling majority. One that many have employed is the “Christian Nation” argument. It goes like this: we should have single-payer health care because that’s what Jesus would do. Apparently because Christ healed the sick and the blind he would support socialized medicine. My NewsReal colleague John Perazzo had a great post on Friday about leftist Ed Schultz using this line of argument and then being confronted by a minister who disagreed with...

For the next several days, I will publish letters and Essays by Vladamir Lenin On the United States. Examine Bolshevik views on the US way of life and free market. I hope you all find it very interesting EXCERPT The sharpening of the struggle between the proletariat and the bourgeoisie is to be observed in all the advanced capitalist countries. The tendency is the same everywhere, though it manifests itself differently in accordance with the difference in historical conditions, political systems and forms of the labour movement. In America and Britain, where complete political liberty exists and where the proletariat...

Note: This older thread and related links are posted here for archival purposes. Fyi. # TUESDAY, MAY 12, 2009 SNIPPET: "After dismantling the 'Afghan channels' whose goal was to send candidates to Jihad in Afghanistan, the anti-terrorism unit heard of a suspect who was contacted via the internet by a senior leader in ASIM and asked to commit a suicide-attack in France. The man refused, but an investigation revealed that other people received this proposition. Though al-Qaeda is growing weaker in the Maghreb, the security services are taking this matter very seriously. However, they do not know whether there are...

Liberalism’s classic formulation came in The Age of Enlightenment. John Locke’s Two Treatises of Government argued that legitimate authority depended on the consent of the governed, while Adam Smith’s The Wealth of Nations rejected mercantilism, which advocated state interventionism in the economy and protectionism, and developed modern free-market economics. Classical liberalism (also known as traditional liberalism, laissez-faire liberalism, and market liberalism or, outside Canada and the United States, sometimes simply liberalism is a form of liberalism stressing individual freedom, free markets, and limited government... From the time of the industrial revolution through the Great Depression liberalism in America saw its...

For the next several days, I will publish letters and Essays by Vladamir Lenin On the United States. Examine Bolshevik views on the US way of life and free market. I hope you all find it very interesting In Volume III of Capital (2. Teil S 156) Marx had already pointed out the the form of landed property with which the incipient capitalist mode of production is confronted does not suit capitalism. Capitalism creates for itself the required forms of agrarian relationships out of the old forms, out of feudal land property, peasants commune property, clan property, ETC. In that...

Political races are about candidates and issues. But election results, in the end, are about numbers. So now that the dust is settling on the 2008 presidential race, what do the numbers tell us?...History will favor Republicans in 2010... Boehner rose from the political dead in 2006 to become House minority leader. And he has managed to survive again, despite a major leadership shuffle after big GOP losses in the 2008 elections. Boehner arrived in the House in 1990 and has long been known as a reformer. As a top lieutenant of ex-House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), Boehner quickly claimed...

For the next several days, I will publish letters and Essays by Vladamir Lenin On the United States. Examine Bolshevik views on the US way of life and free market. I hope you all find it very interesting Marxism and the American General Redistribution In Issue 15 of Vperyod April 20th 1905, Vladimir Lenin discusses Marx's views of America's founding and on land distribution....The year was not 1848 as erroneously stated in the article by Comrade-, but 1846. Herman Krige, a Co-worker of Marx and at the time a very young man, had gone to America in 1845 and there...

Just so we’re all on the same page, Abu Yahya al-Libi has an older brother. His name is `Abd al-Wahhab Qayid (Abu Idris). Remember, Abu Yahya al-Libi’s name is Hasan Qaid (transliterated differently in popular media). What makes this story significant, is that Abu Idris is one of the imprisoned senior leaders of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG) who recently renounced armed violence. And there’s the rub. The guy poised to take over al-Qaida has an older brother who is a senior member of the group that Abu Yahya used to be a member of who is now renouncing...

Has Obama ever held a UK, Kenyan or Indonesian passport? Specifically, the issue of whether Obama held a UK passport is absolutely relevant to determine whether he is currently a British citizen. (I will be publishing comprehensive research on this issue soon.) What passport did Obama travel to Indonesia with at the age of 6 years old? Even if you believe Obama is eligible to be President, the question of what passports he held and what nations he was a citizen of should be of paramount importance to all US citizens. But more important than knowing the answer to this...

As a result of NAFTA, North America is already a well-integrated energy market with Canada and Mexico among the U.S.’s top energy trading partners. Through the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP), the North American Energy Working Group has further integrated a continental energy strategy. Other initiatives are also pushing towards a single North American energy policy. The Western Governors’ Association annual conference was held in Park City, Utah on June 14-16, 2009. The meetings were attended by three Canadian western premiers. Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer and Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall spearheaded plans to develop a cross-border Western Energy Corridor. Both...

The letter U.S. President Barack Obama sent to Syrian President Bashar Assad offered “cooperation and the opening of a new page between the two nations,” the Lebanese daily Al Akhbar reported over the weekend. The letter was three pages long, according to a senior Lebanese diplomat who had visited Damascus. The diplomat said the letter referred to the situation in Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan, and that the Syrians reacted positively and expressed a desire for cooperation with the U.S... The United States has alerted Syrian diplomats that America has decided to lift various embargos against Syria, with more suspensions of...

SNIPPET: "I did. And then I downloaded the video. So, I don’t even know what to say about this. I’m actually speechless. The speaker is a pro al-Qaida scholar named, Khalid Bin abd al-Rahman al-Husaynan (also transliterated: Khalid Bin Abdur Rahman al Hussainan)." SNIPPET: "What I love is that the Forum dudes don’t even question who he is. They just suck it down, like Jonestown Kool-Aid."

What struck me was the incredible power that is developing in bioinformatics and genomics, which so resembles the evolution in computer software and hardware over the past 30 years. George Church’s discussion of the acceleration of the Moore’s law doubling time for genetic sequencing rates,, for example, was extraordinary, from 1.5 efoldings to close to 10 efoldings per year... Two other comments: (1) was intrigued by the fact that the human genome has not been fully sequenced, in spite of the hype, and (2) was amazed at the available phase space for new discovery, especially in forms of microbial life...

Our current US President was a Great British citizen at the time of his birth. He then became a Kenyan citizen followed by what appears to be citizenship in Indonesia. Perhaps he is currently a citizen or subject of a nation other than the US. (That question will be the focus of my next article.) Obama’s own web site carried an admission that his birth status was governed by Great Britain. That admission was published by Obama’s Fight The Smears web site as quoted from a discussion of Obama’s UK citizenship written by Factcheck.org. The Factcheck.org essay went even further...
