This website had gone down permanently due to lack of funding. It looks like Beckwith found a source of funds.
Funny, but with ever day that passes, George W. Bush ain’t looking so bad afterall. This administration, puts the GW Bush days into perspective.
I pitched in $20, you can too. I challenge each of you to match that $20.
I have 28 sites a month for $60, how could it be lack of funding? I am confused.
Tell me more. My AT&T web hosting is getting out of hand.

You all deserve an explanation. No, Obama, nor the Obots shut me down. You guys did.
I didn’t get into this for the money. As I say on my Read Me page, “My agenda is simple and clear. I am opposed to a socialist sitting in the Oval Office — especially one that employs teams of lawyers and the legal system to hide his questionable background from the American People.”
But, I’ve had a PayPal “Contribute” button on my site for over a year. Every day, I get 200 to 300 emails. 50 Of them from folks that tell me I’m a patriot, or they’re praying for me, or the site is invaluable, blah, blah, blah. None of those emailers ever clicked the PayPal button.
I’ve been reading those emails for months, and instead of making me feel good, they disappointed me. I spend 8 to 10 hours a day at this — 7 days a week, and with the exception of a local guy who sent me two $100 hits a year ago, I have received from my loyal readership $40 in contributions in the last 16 months — while my bandwidth steadily increased.
Right now, my email box is full of emails telling me how valuable the site is, and please don’t take it down — oh yeah, and I’m a patriot. Not one of those emailers has ever sent me 5 bucks. I’m a strong believer in non-verbal communication. Flattery doesn’t pay the bills.
This isn’t about money. I do not want any contributions at this point. If you send me any money, I will just send it back — and I’ll pay the PayPal fee — costing me more money.
I realize I sound bitchy, but I’m discouraged — yeah, and angry. You want me to fight the fight, but you don’t want to give me any bullets.
I’m done. I’m going to the beach.

(7-30) UPDATE: Unfortunately, “Beckwith” the man who ran The Obama File website – all by himself – had to close the site due to lack of support. See here for his farewell (I hope not.) post.

I made a donation but my paypal receipt does not say it went to Beckwith. It went to someone else with a comcast email address. I wonder if someone else is running it.
Yeah, even the days of defining what IS is ain’t looking all that bad either...
My link in the above post no longer works. My donation went to “The Obama File”. I assume that is Beckwith, I hope it is.

Thank you, Beckwith. I am saddened to see that ‘the latest news’ has been discontinued, and that apparently you don’t intend to add to ‘The Obama File’, but I am grateful to have the file archieved.
FRiends, we have used ‘The Obama File’ and neglected its author, Beckwith.
He is a 70 year old retired gentleman who is living on Social Security. He put up a PayPal which collected under $250.00 in the over 2 1/2 years that he struggled to maintain it. This is disgraceful.

If Beckwith says he had no money to keep maintaining it, then he had no money to keep maintaining it. I trust this great American patriot.
Money AND probably more importantly TIME. The material he accumulated and kept up to date was extensive and likely required hours and hours to continually update and himself stay current on the rapidly surfacing vagaries of the greatest scam criminal ever to ride the Republic coffers.
In reply to questions received about why ‘The Obama File’ was discontinued, Beckwith replied that he spent 60-70 hours a week researching and updating it.
I am throughly ashamed that we failed to support
this American patriot.
