“Rush Limbaugh’s ignorance and willingness to divide Americans knows no bounds. His latest statement about Israel is beyond offensive to all of us who have fought to protect Israel in the face of enemies committed to its destruction.

With even the Arab League blaming Hezbollah and Hamas for the violence in the Middle East, it seems the terrorist organizations' last bastions of support are Iran, Syria — and parts of California. Left-wing protesters chanting their support for the two groups in front of the Israeli consulate in San Francisco had to be separated from pro-Israel demonstrators by police the other day. Many protesters waved Palestinian flags, while...

Limbaugh will not be charged over Viagra By BRIAN SKOLOFF, Associated Press Writer 13 minutes ago Rush Limbaugh will not face criminal charges after authorities found he had a bottle of Viagra that was apparently prescribed to someone else, prosecutors said Wednesday. Limbaugh, 55, was detained for more than three hours at Palm Beach International Airport on June 26 after he returned on his private plane from a vacation in the Dominican Republic. Customs officials found Viagra in his bag, but his name wasn't on the prescription, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Limbaugh's lawyer, Roy Black, has...

Judge gives Limbaugh medical records to investigators By JILL BARTON Associated Press Writer July 06, 2005 5:42PM A judge Wednesday gave some of Rush Limbaugh's medical records to prosecutors, allowing their long-stalled investigation into whether the conservative commentator illegally purchased painkillers to move forward. Circuit Court Judge Thomas Barkdull III also returned some of Limbaugh's records to his attorney, Roy Black. Black had argued that the judge should limit the records prosecutors can review because they contain privileged, even embarrassing, details about medical procedures, symptoms and other issues that were unrelated to the criminal investigation. After a hearing on Wednesday,...

Judge Returns Records to Rush Limbaugh In an apparent legal victory for top talk radio host Rush Limbaugh, Florida Circuit Judge Thomas Barkdull has returned most of his medical records to his attorney, Roy Black - thereby denying prosecutors "free rein" over Limbaugh's medical file.

Circuit Judge Thomas Barkdull III ruled Tuesday that he will not restrict the number of investigators who will see the released portions of Rush Limbaugh's medical records. Investigators may have access to those records in the next few days. In a Tuesday court hearing, Barkdull said he will complete his review of the records this week. Investigators seized medical records from three of Limbaugh's Palm Beach County doctors and one Los Angeles doctor in late 2003. Barkdull will decide which records fall within the scope of search warrants used to seize the records and will give those portions to prosecutors...

WEST PALM BEACH -- A Palm Beach County judge ruled Friday that he will review Rush Limbaugh's medical records in private to determine which of them will be turned over to prosecutors investigating the conservative radio host's prescription drug use. [snip]During that hearing, Assistant State Attorney James Martz told Barkdull that the records could show that the conservative radio host engaged in doctor shopping -- secretly obtaining overlapping prescriptions from different doctors in one month. Limbaugh's attorney, Roy Black, argued that the records should be limited to the time period between March 2003 and September 2003. Prosecutors cited prescriptions Limbaugh...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Let's go ahead and listen to Senator Durbin again. You need to hear this. We got the audio for this in the final hour of the program yesterday, and just in that period of time – as we always say, "show prep for the rest of the media." It was all over the place last night, websites and all over, people are outraged. Durbin's office is being swamped with phone calls. We had phone calls on this program after the audio aired. People are just livid, and particularly the parents of soldiers serving in the United States,...

Yesterday, ladies and gentlemen, was the latest court hearing on the attempt by the Palm Beach County state attorney to get my medical records, to see what, if anything, might be in there that they could charge me with. They're on a fishing expedition and by their own admission I am guilty and have to prove myself innocent. They have no idea what to charge until they see the medical records and there was a hearing yesterday. What we've done on the website is we've posted the motion that we filed with the court yesterday, and it's a pdf file....

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: From the American Thinker - in fact it's one of our favorite websites; by the way it is a blog -- I guess this is Senator Dick Durbin's comments on the Senate floor. "'On one occasion, the air conditioning had been turned down so far and the temperature was so cold in the room, that the barefooted detainee was shaking with cold. ..... On another occasion, the (air conditioner) had been turned off, making the temperature in the unventilated room well over 100 degrees. The detainee was almost unconscious on the floor, with a pile of hair...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Rich Galen in his Mullings web log today said, "We have to be the dumbest superpower in the history of the planet. The latest example of Liberal intellectual rigor mortis is this business about closing down the prison at Guantanamo Bay because of 'allegations of abuse.'" [Snipped comments about Dittocam problem] Mullings continues, "Senator Biden who wants to ride the Gitmo Train all the way to the White House in 2008, is the senior Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. He said on ABC's Sunday show, 'I think we should end up shutting it down, moving...

WEST PALM BEACH -- Rush Limbaugh's attorney asked a judge Wednesday for copies of the conservative commentator's sealed medical records so he can provide a list of privileged information that should not be turned over to prosecutors investigating Limbaugh's drug use.

Prosecutors will have to wait until at least next week before finding out which medical records they may use in pursuing their criminal investigation against Rush Limbaugh. Circuit Judge Jeffrey Winikoff postponed hearing arguments Monday when he did not receive copies of two defense motions even though Limbaugh's attorney Roy Black filed the papers Friday. Winikoff attributed the delay to security procedures put in place after 9/11, requiring paperwork to go through the clerk's office instead of directly to the judge. The hearing is reset for Tuesday. "I think that the court handled this quite properly wanting to read all...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: The Wall Street Journal editorial is with us to do on this whole mess, and it mentions a point that we touched on yesterday. The title of their editorial: "A Remarkable Exercise In Political Self-Protection." They call this compromise a charade. "This ballyhooed 'compromise' is all about saving the Senators themselves, not the Constitution. Its main point is to shield the group of 14 from the consequences of having to cast difficult, public votes in a filibuster showdown," and I think that's right on the money. We're talking about moderates here, who are scared to death to...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: If we can't even control who is appointed to the Supreme Court when the Republicans have the presidency and the Senate, then we never will. If we can't control who gets on the Supreme Court when we have the White House and the Senate, we never, ever will. Let me ask you this: If the Democrats had the White House and the Democrats controlled the Senate, do you think that they would be surrendering their power for judiciary appointments? Hell no! We are. We are, because of seven renegades, six of whom I can't begin to explain...

New York: In what appears to be a crushing blow, Howard Dean body slammed Rush Limbaugh on Meet The Press, putting Limbaugh in his place and placing the final nail in his coffin. The remarks came Sunday, May 22, 2005, in an hour long interview with Tim Russert. Dean pulled out all the stops, leaving his place in history with such names as Lenin, Marx and Krushchev. In one of his comments to Russert, Dean said, “It is galling to be lectured about moral values by folks who have their own problems. I’m giving them a little taste of their...
