Documents just made public show how groups aligned with the Democratic Party hit a third party rival with an array of underhanded schemes that put Watergate tricksters to shame. “We can just rig our own poll to make it look as s**t as possible…” “Block signature-gathering…” “Make [them] seem like they might be totally crazy/right-wing wackos to mid-low-info voters…” “Hijacking their ballot line and pushing extremist candidates to muddy [their] brand…”The above quotes are just a few excerpts from incredible documents made public after a long court fight. Nancy Pelosi, whose fingerprints are all over the defenestration of President Biden, has expressed deep sadness at the rupture in their relationship. The two go back decades, to a time when a then-young Delaware Sen. Joe Biden was on the rise and Pelosi, a mother of five and devoted Democratic Party volunteer, hosted one of San Francisco's must-stop political salons. (The kids were pressed into duty as waitstaff.)She now praises Biden as one of the nation's greatest and most consequential presidents, deserving, even, of a place on Mt. Rushmore. But when it comes to campaigns and elections, the former House speaker...

The Atlantic is facing intense scrutiny over a report alleging former President Trump disparaged a slain Mexican-American Army private while he was in office, with some involved with the story declaring it "false" and a "hit piece." Jeffrey Goldberg, editor-in-chief of The Atlantic, began a lengthy report published Tuesday about Trump's interaction with the family of 20-year-old Vanessa Guillén, the daughter of Mexican immigrants who was murdered in April 2020 by a fellow soldier at Fort Hood. After her remains were discovered two months later, Trump consoled Guillén's family at the White House and offered to provide financial assistance to...

Michigan’s top election official, Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, is the subject of a bar complaint over her department’s actions to keep independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s name on the ballot. State Sen. Pennsylvania residents with Trump signs in their yard are reportedly receiving disturbing letters warning them that “there will be consequences” for supporting former President Donald Trump. “We know where you live, you are in the data base,” the anonymous author states in the letter, first obtained by The Post Millennial. “In the dead of a cold winters night, this year, or next and beyond, there is no knowing what will happen. Your property, your family may be impacted, your cat may get shot. And more.” The threatening message was written on a “Trump 2024” letterhead, and began with “a quick...

AP style will continue to lowercase the term white in racial, ethnic and cultural senses. This decision follows our move last month to capitalize Black in such uses. We consulted with a wide group of people internally and externally around the globe and considered a variety of commentary in making these decisions. There was clear desire and reason to capitalize Black. Most notably, people who are Black have strong historical and cultural commonalities, even if they are from different parts of the world and even if they now live in different parts of the world. That includes the shared experience...

MSNBC “PoliticsNation” host Al Sharpton said Friday on “Hallie Jackson Reports” that it was “horrific” that former President Donald Trump and others are “making a hero” out of Kyle Rittenhouse. Rittenhouse was acquitted of murder and other charges after he shot and killed two men and injured a third during a Black Lives Matter protest last year in Kenosha, WI.

Kyle Rittenhouse, who was 17 years old when he shot three people, killing two, officially got away with murder. A jury of his white peers ruled that Rittenhouse acted in self-defense when he illegally acquired a gun, traveled across state lines, lied about his status as a medic, pointed his gun at protesters, and then used it to kill others. The verdict is not surprising, if you are familiar with how the criminal justice system works for white people. Wisconsin Judge Bruce Schroeder, who presided over the Rittenhouse trial, consistently made rulings in the best interest of the white gunman.
