SALT LAKE CITY — The news is out about Utah's decision to allow some immigrant professionals to become licensed in the state — and the demand for such licenses is high. The Department of Commerce, which oversees a lion's share of the state's licensing, has received over 2,600 responses since May from foreign-licensed professionals who are interested in becoming licensed in Utah. The Utah Legislature approved SB35 earlier this year, which allows for such licensing among several state agencies. An evil capitalist goes to Occupy Portland looking to help people find work. Most people just pass by. One prospective worker is apparently a felon. Another gentleman declines after asking if the work is from a union... others merely mock the capitalist, or are more concerned with publicizing their marches. Out of the hundreds of people there, most of which complain about being out of work, only about 15 signed up for work.

A college student pinned under a car that had crashed into his motorcycle in Brooklyn died yesterday after rescue workers struggling to free him from the wreckage dropped the vehicle on him in a tragic accident.
