Sgt. Harold Preston was a 41 year veteran of the Houston Police Department. He was the caretaker for his elderly parents. 65 years old, he was just a few weeks away from retirement. He was shot and killed Tuesday morning in the line of duty. Preston was shot by Elmer Manzano, an illegal alien and convicted felon with multiple priors. In October 1994, Manzano was arrested for the unlawful carrying of a firearm in Dallas County. TOWN OF PRESTON, Wis. — An Adams County man has been arrested after pointing a handgun at patrons at a bar, according to a Facebook post by the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. Adams County Dispatch received a 911 call reporting a man had a gun inside the bar where there was a fight taking place early Saturday morning, according to Adams County Sheriff Brent York York said Karl Spencer, 49, of Friendship showed a handgun and pointed it at patrons at the bar. reston Roberts of Mountain Men fame has died. Roberts, 60, best known for his small role on the History Channel show, had been battling cancer. His death was caused by a complications from an inoperable liver tumor, according to his dear friend, Eustace Conway, who made the announcement on Facebook. A teenager was stabbed when hundreds of people became involved in a battle on the streets of Preston. Trouble centred on the Jamea Masjid mosque in Clarendon Street, Avenham, for more than four hours last night (Sunday) and led to a massive policing operation.
